I just flat out didn't care, played that game for hours on end just to finish it. Sometimes even left it on for hours to go eat.
I even shared what I was doing in the game on skype with friends or my girlfriend and made sarcastic jokes while playing it.
It's all about starting up the game, looking at your ugly ass reflection that stares at you with the same disappointment your parents do in the monitor, grab together all the sarcasm you have and just think "I legit don't ******* care, I just wanna play my ******* game".
I just flat out didn't care, played that game for hours on end just to finish it. Sometimes even left it on for hours to go eat.

Drawing cat ears approximately where the human ears should be make your character more anatomically appealing (to me at least) and free you from the having the need to give your character long hair to cover the missing human ears. I don't think I ever saw a top ear cat person without long hair
