While I respect the opinion, I can't help but disagree with it still. All stories can be found adopting elements from ancient mythology, mythology is pretty much the foundation of it and star wars itself is heavily inspired by some aspects. We all saw that jar jar binks conspiracy, as entertaining as it was, I have to say that is the tragedy that the prequels suffered. Without that key point to really bring the story telling together, the trilogy became a rather shallow and undesirable mess. From midi-chlorians to Anakins ****** up logic in the revenge of the sith.
