I dont quite know if this episode was ironic, because the swedish courts wasnt far from giving the piratebay people to the US. And it seemed like they were giving more support towards the holywood cocksuckers than they should have.

There is a major problem in Sweden about how to deal with piracy, on one hand, it's socially acceptable to download (if for private use), even amongst older generations (to some degree, not everybody of course). Also, there is nothing really being done against the piracy, even though it's illegal, and usually people who download can do so safely, and those who administrate the websites are sometimes getting caught.

Then again, if authorities do find one, they are treated as people who have committed crimes against humanity.

Our politicians obviously trust Russia as much as they understand the internet and this is the result..

Well, if 10 people got incarcerated for millions to be able to pirate films/tv-series/games/programs/books etc. and continue to annoy factions such as Hollywood it might be worth it.
