I know it's good because it's a first for space science and all but
Pluto is the same as our moon in appearance, except for more ice. Nothing new. To someone like me who doesn't have a huge interest in our solar system, this just doesn't excite me.
In fact most of space exploration in this galaxy, other than various discoveries about Saturn and Jupiter, have disappointed me.
You get all worked up for alien contact or proof that there was once an alien civilization on Mars, and then NASA comes in and lets logic piss on your imagination.
It's good and all because being able to answer unknowns is always good, but don't expect people like me to be excited about it.
