Sucks man. People who decide to take people's hard earned things are scum.
But the ones that will take a living thing from someone that they cared for and have grown attached to...they are the worst kind of scum.

I used to have a lovebird like that one...our neighbors moved away and it either got loose while they were moving, or they just let it go.
Either way, it wound up in my yard and I caught it. The thing had obviously never been socialized, so it would try to bite at every opportunity.

The thing had this weird habit of wolf-whistling every time anyone walked by, all the while furiously humping and masturbating on the little hanging bell toy... : /

We never did find out if it was male or female either. Nor how old it was, but it dropped dead one morning of unknown causes.
