Mad props to whoever can play as Luigi in Super Mario World, I find it extremely difficult to control him in that. But I love using him in Super Mario Bros. 2
It was a good start to something new.
I've stopped seeing is at the 4th installment, the sequel to the greatness of Halo 3, and look at it as more of the 1st in a new trilogy..
my main problem was the lack of other options, like theatre and firefight. I also felt that the story was on the short side. Other than that it carries the mantle well.
If you read the comics and books, there's way more to the new 'frat boy' Spartans than we see in Halo 4. Palmer actually gets a decent personality, some of the IV's are ******* awesome, and Chief becomes even more of a badass by outclassing even the best of them by a mile and a half.
And now he's got ONI branding him as a traitor for god knows what reason, the next game looks exciting as hell.
Not to mention we MIGHT see Buck and Romeo as IV's
Don't forget the commander that got all ******* mad because Master Chief didn't give up Cortana. yelling "arrest that man!!" well excuuuuse me sir, i guess saving planets isn't as important as having the single most effective spartan to be completely obedient. I mean what was it that Halsey said to Carter? "Are you a puppet? or a spartan?"
Well that asshole ended up losing command over the best human ship ever made for talking smack to the Chief. Also Palmer ended up having respect enough for the Chief to at least hesitate when Del Rio gave the order.
I haven't been in the loop on the halo series for about a year now could I get a brief breakdown on what exactly is going on? Last thing I really remember timeline wise was the kilo-five trilogy in the books and some mention of spartan IVs being made up of volunteers.
I'm gonna put it on your profile, because spoilers and there's a lot, where about's did you get out of the loop, as in what's the last thing that happened?
Seriously bitch? Savior of the galaxy who's been MIA for 7 years and that's your first words? BITCH, THIS IS ******* MASTER CHIEF, YOU BETTER SHOW SOME RESPECT BECOME HE CURBSTOMPS YOUR BOOT SPARTAN ASS IN TO THE ******* GROUND!!!!
I did love when that dick ordered her to apprehend MC and she didn't do **** . It's like, "Sir, that is a 7 foot can of asswhooping standing right there. He'd punch me through the god damned bulkhead before you could say ' ***** ".
I would love to see some Sparta-On-Spartan ass kicking. Or, really, just the Chief in glorious pre-rendered cut-scenes beat Palmer's ass and show her what a real, Original Spartan is.
Well, Palmer did shoot Halsey in the arm, I'm sure Master Chief isn't just going to let her get away with that. I'm with you, but with Palmer not exactly hopeless, but it does become painfully clear that she, nor any other "Spartan" IV, is not nearly at level Master Chief is.
Welllllll, the MJOLINIR II armor makes the Spartan IVs stronger than the IIs, but out of armor, the IIs are far superior.
Also, the IIs know nothing but combat, so I can see him winning.
I would love that... but perhaps we make it like when you introduce a character with a martial arts background in a non-martial arts movie:
Show Master Chief sparring against... say, a dozen IV's and handing their asses to them until they all dogpile him or something.
because that would be sweet.
That's actually a very good question. Especially seeing as how it's actually stated in the books that John is "not the strongest, fastest, or the smartest. But he's damn sure the luckiest." In a hand to hand fight with no weapon, i'm fairly certain that he could take a IV but when you throw weapons into the mix the variables become incalculable.
I always liked Luigi.
I wanted to play "the green one" in super mario.
I always pick him in Mario Party only exception is if Buuhuu was playable .
I play him in any other Mario game too: Tennis, Soccer.
Oh, that's one of the first few missions. Star Citizen is basically a modern remake of Freelancer. It is a crowdfunded I know crowdfunding has a bad reputation but they actually do 3-4 updates per week so they can be trusted. Also the media is following them so they have plenty of things keeping them honest. game made by the same guy who made Freelancer and Wing Commander. This video is where the game is in development now (this video just came out last week).
Yeah! Right now they have a simple vs and horde mode for dogfighting, as well as walking around your hangar to see your ship (if you bought one), but the release schedule for this year will be the first person shooter demo (coming next month) and a planetside module where you can walk around & stuff on earth (next couple months), and so on until the release of the game. I got a ship from their website (Aurora), which gives you access to the game when it comes out for I think half the cost of the full game.
You and me both man. I'm going to be putting so much money into a HOTAS and oculus rift setup. I got the Aurora package at first, and later added an Origin 300 series (the one for exploration). Super stoked for this game.
Nope, I'm thinking I'll wait on that until the game is more developed and I put more thought into what exactly I want to do. Exploring and mining are so far the most interesting to me, but racing and salvaging look pretty amazing too. One step at a time, the game has to come out first lol
Yeah, cool. I liked mining a lot too, though I was originally thinking I'd do trading and do some dogfighting on the side. It's looking nice, and they say the release schedule is much more exciting this year in terms of playable content
Well it's quite subjective, but I thought the whole of Halo 4 was bad.
343 have tried to give Master Cheif some sort of personal journey, and the campaign,
which should have been utterly absorbing and mysterious (and would have undoubtably
been under Bungie's hands) felt linear and forced the player through it. There was no
Explration. I mean in Halo 1 and 2 you could easily get lost during the Campaign,
and in Halo 3 the levels were huge and there were all sorts of vehicles you could use
or simply just walk. The world was just smaller in Halo 4.
just smaller. And then there was the multiplayer, which is being ruined too. I mean,
you get points for a kill? Why? For 'assists' apparently, but who actually wants one?
The addition of armour abilities and custom loadouts (which were, admittedly, Bungie's idea), have made the game more like CoD and reduced any character the game used to have.
I have more to say but I don't want to write a wall of text.
And the Halo 5 beta simply exacerbated all the above issues.
There has been loads of backlash about this to 343, so I know I'm not alone in thinking this. Hopefully they'll drastically change Halo 5 for the release.
