Yeah, villagers try to get houses/4 villagers in the village, but houses are almost defined as just single doors. Build enough houses in a village read: plant it full of doors and the villagers will **** like bunnies. Enough villagers will eventually also summon iron golems
"...if it has at least 10 villagers." (from minecraft.gamepedia.com/Iron_golem )
Also, correction on my previous statement: amount of villagers roughly equals houses/3. This still means that you'll need at least about 30 doors before golems will start spawning
At least there's a sense of accomplishment. Creative is like using cheats. Sure it's cool at first but if you want to play for any amount of time you're ruining it for yourself.
I've played pure survival mode.
Got a 200x300x16 block netherbrick castle with redstone lantern lighting, piston operated doors, enough beacons to reach the whole castle with buffs, and enough food to last a literal lifetime.
Oh, and my diamond armor has multiple enchantments, as do all my diamond tools.
And I've still only managed to find emeralds through trade with the villagers I've enslaved in their village I walled off.
>Cobblestone
Better not be using vanilla, or your house looks lame.
I only have it on Xbone, so I have to use the texture packs they have in the store, but they're pretty good.
When you have a really big mass of cobblestone the texture starts to look funky so I honestly like it like that. I puts into perspective how big the **** really is.
Different color on each floor so I can tell what floor i'm on. Only have it finished on the first floor though. The interior is really **** , I've mostly been working on expansion. I'm aiming for it to be at the build limit while also going all the way down to bedrock.
yup,
not a very well known thing but if you build a square hut with 4 doors in a village then you get
4 more villagers.
some guy once made an ultra villager spawner using hundreds of doors on a tower.
