I have recently started playing Skyrim and I'm at about the point where you kill the dragon at Whiterun. I figured that an orc would be a fun character to play as I don't care much about spells.
Just now Im rocking Imperial officer armour and a fine steel war hammer, I think you can guess my playthrough style.

My Latest Skyrim Character. I have recently started playing Skyrim and I'm at about the point where you kill the dragon at Whiterun. I figured that an orc would

I have figured that stealth is also a factor though, I currently have a nice pickpocket level going on.
This is because I like the following idea.
Picture the scene:
You are a Bandit patrolling a dungeon
You see an orc, huge beard, high ranking armour, holding large hammer
Obviously trying to hide
You stand as no threat to him
You pretend you never saw him
He walks up to you, still crouched
He puts his huge hand in your pocket and pulls out your coin purse
He then proceeds to pull your clothes off
You know that if you say anything, that hammer will be in your head.
THAT is my logic.

wish you could get mods for xbox. I like the idea of fighting randy savage and having a bikini wearing follower

Hey man, you can't just switch to the masterrace. Not everyone has the $500+ minimum that you need to make a computer actually worth gaming on.

Oh that's right, I had forgotten they added that. I haven't played since before that was released. This comic was made before then as well, by the way.

I play High Elf/Nord Sorcerer/Monk that uses her "Stance of The Hurricane" power to imbue her fists with fire and force to punch ************* and set them on fire as they go flying away like they got hit with a full charge Unrelenting Force. Also it fortifies her Sprint speed by 50%

Then uses "Tiara Crusade" to apply a 100% Shield and Spell Reflection spell

Mods are fun when you want to punch **** and **** around.

I've recently tried a new style of playing skyrim. Got that followers tweak thing that allows you to convert most npcs into followers and also have as many as you want.

So i made an old character with long white hair that only heals and buffs allies but doesnt fight.

Followers do all the fighting for him and he goes around converting people into his personal army.

His name is Wololo.

User avatar #114 to #113 - toguro ONLINE (04/11/2015) [-]
I just fired it up one day and everything was wrong, the graphics were glitching out; I couldnt move and then it'd just freeze. Not even alt F4 could save me.

All mods are updated, got the latest RealVision ENB, the load order is correct but whenever I fire it up it says now; the problems are still the same only it doesnt freeze and it now says that "bFloatPointRenderTarget" isnt set to 1 when it is and there are no other duplicates of the file - all of the ini prefs are set to what theyre supposed to be so I have no idea what to do.

I also have just started playing Skyrim. I am a male wood elf named Calcifer. Rocking around the land with my main man, Fendal or whatever the **** his name is. Was chilling with Lydia but **** her dialogue was annoying. Killed 2 dragons, havent joined a guild or any other group, stole a horse, ran off a cliff thus killing said horse, killed some weird looking crow witch thingie for a toothpick to get tree sap or whatever, bought a house in Whiterun and other fun stuff. Anyone got any tips for a new player of Skyrim, this is the first time I've played any of the Elderscroll games. Gif not related

Think up a kinda backstory for your character, like an apprentice mage interested in ice magic, then build up from there, build your character around a general plan.

PC or console version?

I tend to stick to my iron sword and my destruction magic, don't have too many spells, a few fire ones and an ice one. I carry pretty light and wear hide armor, iron boots of resist shock and a fancy golden helmet made by the dwarves or some **** . As you can tell, I have no idea what I am doing. Tips would be great
#65 to #62 - anon (04/11/2015) [-]
Don't mix up heavy and light armor, as your armor skills increase you will be able to select perks that increase your armor if you're head to toe in light/heavy.

You should head to winterhold and join the college if you want to git gud at magics.

Also the helmet is made of some sort of alloy that only the dwarves knew how to make, not gold.

And if you want to smith yourself top-tier armour and weapons it's best to scavenge dwarven metal scraps, smelting them to ingots and then making ******** of bows, you will of course need the dwarven smithing perk first.
#73 to #65 - anon (04/11/2015) [-]
to clarify on the first point, there is a perk in both trees that boosts your armour if you're only wearing that armour type.

Currently playing a female high elf necromage vampire with the dawnguard DLC, and the main thing I use is sorcery.

Sounds pretty ordinary, right? Not this one. Apparently when it comes to games I am so power obsessed that having 1260 magicka is still not enough for me.

User avatar #99 - inuares (04/11/2015) [-]
I still need to get the DLC for skyrim, but the cost is ridiculous. you pay the same price for the DLC as the main game on the steam page.
User avatar #105 to #99 - listerthepessimist ONLINE (04/11/2015) [-]
does suck a bit, paid £2.50 for the game initially, ended up buying the legendary edition at £6.99 since it's cheaper than one DLC

I decided to play an Altmer spellsword instead of my usual Argonian sneeki breeki. Then I joined up with the Stormcloaks and finished their entire questline. After murdering Tullius I went off and married the orc guy from Dushnik Yal.

I ended up restarting because I was tired of dealing with the Stormcloak racism.

Yo how you get to marry people? Ain't that some mod **** ?
#68 to #57 - anon (04/11/2015) [-]
1. Get them to like you (do a quest or something)

2. Go to the temple of Mara in riften and chat with the head priest (he may be in the tavern preaching about love first time you meet him)

3. Acquire and equip an amulet of Mara

4. Speak to your future wife/husband and if they note that you're wearing the amulet then you're all set to get married

Since a lot of us are sharing our characters

From the Wayrest Kingdom of High Rock to Skyrim on the quest to excavate long forgotten ruins of the Dwemer. He believes that Dwemer technology is the key to uplifting the inhabitants of Tamriel and obsessively tries to hunt down any lead he can on another cache. His experience as a knight, arcane talents and skill as an artificer are what he uses to navigate through the politics, ruffians and creatures of the war torn province.

As for build, he's quite mod dependent, designed for Perkus Maximus. Pet oriented, crafting a lot of Dwemer automatons to do his fighting.
