We see tones just slighlty different. How old are you? This is stuff I thought about when I was like 8 but as I grew up I realized how dumb it is to think this seeing as how our eyes are made similar.

if so, it would cause ripple effects throughout the interior design industry. every artist in the world would paint things differently. imagine every painting of a human you ever saw in different colours. everything would be in different colours due to preference. for example, people like certain colours by default. it's how we identify things and such. but if that changed, the epigenetic colour coding in our brains would swirl into inconsistency

My mother is colorblind, so it almost impossible for us to compare colors. She was painting her nails a purple and I came over to tell her and she looked up and said, "Wait.. this isn't red?"
