r/leagueoflegends is notorious for working with Riot and a lot of mods who moderated the sub actually work for Riot now. Take for example how the subreddit got Richard Lewis a journalist IP banned from Reddit because they didn't like his content, then proceeded to lie saying that he was going to doxx them, and claimed he was vote brigading which can be as little as saying "hey, check out this thread"

We tell you and tell you guys how a closed-source ecosystem is a terrible thing to support, but apple products still get sold. Being left in the dust as the web moves towards better and freer standards is the price you will have to pay.

A used Nexus 5 2013 (an older phone, yet still fast enough to satisfy even power-users like myself) will run you about $150-$200 on amazon. There's very very little excuse not to make the switch.

Meh, I'd say most are not SJW ******** , maybe most of the front page subs but a lot of them aren't.

Then again I only hang around /r/techtheatre, /r/guns, /r/elitedangerous, /r/woodworking, and /r/astrophotography most of the time and they're perfectly fine subreddits.

I think that's the point that most people miss about Reddit, it's conveniently there with multiple different subs fitting your hobbies and all of which usually have their own community separate from the Reddit drama.

I wouldn't say the mods are powermad, the admins yes but mod abuse isn't something that's a widespread epidemic. The admins are just sjw trash.

But then I also agree. I mostly use reddit for just /r/HaloOnline, /r/Firefox, /r/Futurama, /r/YouTubeHaiku, /r/theredpill, and /r/OutOfTheLoop. There's no cancer mods there, and reddit serves its exact purpose: to be a useful collection of communities too small to be useful in a forum/message board setting.

People just check the front page subs and say "yeah, reddit is **** ", and yes, the front page subs are disgraceful, but dig a bit deeper and there's some good use for reddit.

No, theres no hierarchy of humour and forum sites. Everyone who goes on reddit, 4chan, fj, imgur, 9gag, etc. wastes the same amount of time, looking at the same mindless **** , being the same ***** that we all are. No one is above anyone on the internet. At least our admin isn't a sell out yet.
