Dragon Age: Inquisition looks incredibly questionable in every aspect. I'm going to wait until it actually comes out before giving it a chance, because Bioware has continuously run their franchises into the ground, and do not deserve the benefit of the doubt.

I've been in love with the ME franchise since Day One. I'm easy to please in that regard, and the armor they showed looks amaaaazing.

well yeah, but other companies usually show some content from the games they are working on. this was just some hipster gibberish, like the ending of ME3. it's only about developers developers developers, but what about us? we do not care about what type of coffee they drink. i personally don't believe a word they say about listening to fans, because if they listened, there would be more stuff to show us, Shepard would be alive, the ending of ME3 would be satisfying and so on. but I don't blame Bioware. I blame EA, because that's just what they do. they don't give a **** about fans. they release games far before completion for a price so high you would not believe. god it feels so good to say it all out loud

Well, it would be ******* stupid to ask "hey, guys, how do you want the series to end?" Also, Shepard can live, and the ending was disappointing but not the end of the world. A lot of people were saying the series wouldn't be satisfying unless Shepard did die, so they obviously listened to somebody. The other 99% of ME3 was incredible, so it's fine by me, anyway.

However, Bioware literally has asked people what they wanted as every ME game went into development. That's a fact. I remember talking to Christina Norman, the chief gameplay designer on ME2, in the forums when ME2 was just a twinkle in Bioware's eye. My major concern was that melee attacks were really weak in ME1, and lo and behold, melee attacks kicked ass in ME2 if you spec'd for them.

Also, they did show content from the game they were working on. There was a big mutant krogan thing roaring and modelers working on in-game armor. That's content.

dude. I am not saying ME3 sucked, only the ending. What I was trying to say is that I do not believe a thing about EA listening to the fans. Not nowadays. And what I meant by content was a trailer. Or a hint about the story. Something new. We've already seen some developers working on stuff on those photos they released months ago. So for me, nothing new.

I saw some areas being worked on, but never slick-as-hell HD armor.

But, the game is in a really early development stage. They're probably also playing things very close to the chest because of people who are super butthurt about a merely disappointing ending. They may not have much at all to show that realistically represents their design decisions.

well last time they talked about how far they are they said that they are somewhere in the middle, so showing something more wouldn't hurt anyone, amirite? and I am sure that "butthurt" people who are "still butthurt" about that ending "that was totally ok" would be a-okay with some new content. At least something like - this game takes place after the events of ME trilogy, the galaxy has grown, ... idk. Not just some concepts and pictures of armor. we know there will be armor in the game, it's not a big reveal. in HD? cool, that would be an awesome feature on the next-gen consoles

just a few examples:

Dead Space
Added a pointless co-op mode to Dead Space 3, turned the game into a generic "Dudebro" shooter, micro-transactions that nerfed all of the weapons unless you pay extra. The game underperformed, and the future of the franchise is uncertain.

SimCity
The game launched in March and was virtually unplayable at the time of release. EA's strict "Online Only" DRM policies, combined with servers that couldn't keep up, resulted in a long waiting period and several apologies before the game was able to run. The only compensation that players got was a free download of an old EA game of their choice... playable only on Origin!

Fuse
This promising game from Insomniac launched with no advertising, no support, and no sales. This is one of the biggest bombs of 2013, despite being a solid shooter with potential to turn the series into a decent franchise. EA sent this one off to die... it never had a chance.

Plants vs. Zombies
Plants vs. Zombies 2 launched in the summer and was filled with micro-transactions. Trying to progress in the game without spending money is damn near impossible, and EA has the audacity to charge you for each individual plant that you buy! Go read the user reviews on iTunes to see how this went over with the PvZ fanbase.

Battlefield
In an attempt to launch one week before Call of Duty, EA rushed out an unfinished, unplayable game that STILL isn't working properly. Campaign progress is randomly deleted, online games are dropped without warning, there are many graphical / audio bugs... the list goes on. Things got so bad that Microsoft has started offering refunds to players that bought the Battlefield Premium Season Pass. All future DLC is on hold until the game is fixed.

I liked Battlefield 4 just fine, and the only genuine bug I encountered was the thing where spawning as a Support with their unique perks equipped causes a crash.

Those other franchises I really couldn't give two ***** about.

Those "other franchises you couldn't give a **** about" + the ending of ME3 + lots of other things have left me with a concern. EA has this tendency nowadays to release games that are not completed. Even ME3 was rushed, and that is one of the reasons we received an ending like that. ****, even the Indoctrination theory makes more sense.

ME3 was fine. Great, even. The last five minutes can't ruin 40 hours of non-stop character development bliss and excellent combat.

Also, why blame EA, who has nothing to do with writing endings? EA publishes the stuff, and has nothing to do with actual, feet-on-the-ground development. For being "rushed" (read: it wasn't) ME3 was a really polished experience. The blame for the ending falls squarely on the writers and the ******** fans who leaked plots for the game while it was in development. So, yes, it may have been rushed in that the writers had to scramble to write something new after the so-called fans ****** everything up, and they didn't come up with anything great in time. Again, EA isn't really involved in any of that. Acting like EA is some kind of super-conglomerate run by trolls out to ruin your fun is childish, and stupid.

Oh, so we should just ignore that EA has ruined all those franchises and it truly did rush ME3. ME3, as I said like 40 times now was a great game, though the ending could have been better.

I spent hours with this game. At the time I was huge into Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, so this was right up my alley. I mainly stuck to Psycho powers for the raw damage. Psycho Blade was my favorite attack spell.

How did you come across it? My mom and I were shopping one day and I forget what I was wanting at the time, some $60 overhyped Xbox game or something, but my mom wasn't having any of it. I pulled this from the $20 bin Walmart usually has because the cover looked awesome. My mom was cool with it and when I brought it home and played it, I realized I had discovered a rare gem.

It was the time when the original Xbox was coming out, I bought a Ps2 and a friend an Xbox and we decided to buy all the exclusive games for each system so we wouldn't miss out, if he wanted the PS2 i'd switch my console with him, so about a month while he played the PS2 i played this and loved it.

after I got older and parted ways with him I ended up buying the game.
