Hey guys this is my band Fill in the Blank. I have been on FJ for years and I thought I really wanted to share this with you guys now that we just finished our first album. This song is called 'Scarlet' and is our most experimental song on the album! Tell me what you guys think.

I like the instrumental

Constructive criticism: Vocal work could go a long way
Try pushing your voice out of your body, get your voice into the emotion the song is conveying, and be sure you mean every note and word you sing

When I mean "a long way" I mean, the song would be perfect if the vocals were helped a bit more
Other than that, I love it and would buy an album

Hey guy! I've been a drummer/vocalist for nine years and thought I could throw some constructive criticism your way
1) Like kokanum said, vocals. Try using your throat a bit more instead of your face, if that makes any sense? Also, some dirty vocals never hurt!
2) Drums could be a bit tighter. It sounds like the drummer is hesitant on what s/he's doing, so don't be afraid to really hit um', even on chill songs sometimes!
3) One more on drums, it doesn't always sound right on tempo. Metronomes always help with that.
4) This sounds great! My band is recording our second album, and it's hard work, so great job Really nice to see other musicians doing what they love
