"in 1000 years most people won't remember a single nation of today" is just wrong.
A lot of nations will likely still exist. And countries which had a huge impact on the world like America, Germany, USSR etc. will be remembered at the least.
I mean most people still remember the roman empire, and greek city states like athens and sparta and they're all well over 1000 years old.

It was good at first, but then transgressed into something I would expect a college neckbeard with a fedora fetish to say

These started off really good.
Until they became over "edgy" and incredibly pointless.

"Pandas don't have a part in nature anymore"
Go **** yourself man. Pandas are ******* amazing.

"I believe churches and other organised religions should be banned for protesting without factual evidence."

So much for those rights of freedom of speech and religious practice.

So...What is this, a "I'm relatively well-educated, liberal, and have spent at least 50 hours on the internet" post?
Nobody will argue with the majority of these unless they conflict with their individual beliefs AND said individual beliefs aren't known as strange or outlying beliefs. And nobody will argue against landwhales being unattractive, for example.

Wording this a bit badly, sorry, but honestly? There are, like, four things here that I disagree with. Max. I'm commenting because I don't understand the purpose of this post.
These are my beliefs:

Cheeseburgers aren't very healthy. Humanity has effectively stopped and possibly even reversed natural selection. Douchebags are douchebags. The Friendzone is misinterpreted and often faked: Most people aren't outside of relationships PURELY BECAUSE the girl in question doesn't want to ruin a friendship.
NO ATTRACTION, BRO. LET IT GO.
!! Positive discrimination is still discrimination. All things should be argued through reason.!! Fideism is invalid. 1+2=3

Do you get the point I'm trying to make here? No matter how much I tailor my "affirmation" to my own personal beliefs and experiences, anyone with even a remotely similar life will completely agree with these.

In context, I grew up in a middle-class, liberal, white household, have an above-average IQ, perform well on tests, am more intellectually driven than physically, and I do not hold firm to any religious beliefs.

Oh, is that a lot of people?

That's what we hold in common.

I'm also 1/4 black, have numerous academic awards, a girlfriend, I'm not physically unfit, and I enjoy my life.

Too braggy?

My father died when I was 2 and my mother left when I was 5. I was beaten by a stepfather and bullied mercilessly throughout elementary school to the point of crippling social anxiety and depression.

Too attention-whorey?

Exactly. You can't please everyone. Beliefs are just that - beliefs.

Some of these are pretty good.

If not all of them.

If not all of them.

Most of these were fairly insightful, although a few were quite frankly just overly hostile and stupid. However for the sake of not starting an unnecessary ********* I will ignore the bad eggs and give OP positive marks.

This is right here kind of irks me. I grew up believing talents are a skill that a person has that come naturally to them and require less effort than average, meaning that since it's a natural ability, you're just born with it.

I think people seem to mix up the definition of talent and skill a lot, but I can understand because they're somewhat similar and speech can allow them to be used interchangeably at times.

Yes, you are definitely entitled to like or dislike anything you want but you're not entitled to expect be liked by everyone or anyone for liking or disliking that thing.

I didn't read that lol.

Seriously, I've asked this so many times and I still haven't got a decent answer: What is the point in telling someone you didn't read? What do you hope to gain? How is this a better course of action than just pressing next? :\

What you call "Human Greed" is actually called being sentient. Anything that lives wants to be better off for themselves and their family, that is not greed. Most people today mis-define greed so greatly that the actual idea of rational self interest is looked at as being a taboo. Greed is when, essentially, it is not enough for you to succeed, others must fail. Rational self interest is when you want to provide a better life for yourself and those you care about, and will take the risks to advance in society, and rational self interests always helps society in ranges by providing a bagel shop closer to a community that offers lower prices so the owner can get more of the competitions business, and it save the consumer money. It can also range to a mass product, like Microsoft. Though they are pretty aggressive at times, they are far from greedy. Do you really thing you would be even on this website without gates wanting to advance in the OS market? Better yet, do you even thing you could afford a computer if Microsoft didn't provide IBM with cheap Operating systems? Communism would work in a society of robots. Of normal people, communism would fail because of no personal incentive. Even if they can create a great new product that would change lives, why would they do it? It would be more work for no gain. And any idiot could do that cost-benefit analysis without even knowing that term exists.

TLDR: Greed is Rare, and being human is not greedy.

I agree, The earth has survived worse than what we've done to it. It's a giant hunk of rock. Our moon was born from a massive meteor impact, after that the're is nothing really we can do to top that...

...However, while the earth will survive, Humanity, Civilization and Life may not. We are effecting weather patterns, one of witch may lead to a change in what I believe is called the calm belt. And every time the flow of this belt has changed it has been fallowed by mass extinction.

The earth is a space ship millions of years old, it is a closed system and our actions have consequences.

We are responsible for the care of this planet called earth, as we are the only ones capable of doing so. I hope some day we act like it.

So raping dead orphans is cool with you? Since people are entitled to like whatever even if it's bad or unpopular. You know there's a reason societal norms exist, if everybody accepted everything then the world would be a much more ****** up place guaranteed.
