What country is that?

god I only wish Iranians were like that back then.
Mothers, fathers, grandfathers and grandfathers. the majority of you were cunts.

Sincerely
Someone who misses Iran and rages as he sees his country destroyed by the ayatollahs

Damn straight brotha. Don't you worry, we in the West, with the Iranians in exile, favor working with Iranians themselves in order to restore the great civilization of Persia, and smashing this country ruled by clergy is not just a necessity, it is also a pleasure.
**** the Ayatollah, long live Salman Rushdie, who received more support in the Middle East than in the West, which I think is pathetic.

And the west is supporting Saudi Arabia which has spent billions in the past decades to spread its flavor of militant wahabism and we are supporting the Muslim Brotherhood (Lybia and Syria are prominent examples, but the Brotherhood-led revolution in Egypt was also welcomed in the west).
I really don't understand our politicians. We're supporting the regressive elements in the islamic world. Not that these problems wouldn't exist without our support, but we should be fighting these idiots, not rooting for them.

So... what went wrong? Was it a combination of Brotherhood+Western (looking at you USA) ******* ?
User avatar #15 to #13 - nimba (11/26/2015) [-]
yo one time I kicked the corner of my coffee table so hard that I ripped my patella out of place. That was america's fault too I think
User avatar #17 to #15 - ninesundev (11/26/2015) [-]
As the USA is notorious for ******* around with the middle east, financing rebels here and there, which became Islamic extremists later, I would say that there is a possibility they were the trigger of this. Not alone, but not innocent either.
#16 to #15 - oxidoferroso (11/26/2015) [-]
Ha, ha, ha, you sure proved me wrong.
Correct me if I'm mistaken
USA+friends support Saudi Arabia (the lowest of the Muslim world)
Saudi spread Wahabihism extremist fundamental practice of Islam that states that problems in the Muslim world exist because they have strayed away from Muhammadism or Sharia also known as the laws of Muhammad.
Saudi Arabia funds this ideology world wide
And all because the sweet and dirty petrol money
I'm not saying that USA has to be 100% blamed, but I think they had some kind of influence on the issue. And they keep having influence
Feel free to discuss it, I'm open to new POVs
User avatar #20 to #16 - nimba (11/26/2015) [-]
sounds like saudi's fault when you put it like that
User avatar #22 to #20 - oxidoferroso (11/26/2015) [-]
what part of USA+friends funding the extremist to get petrol didn't you get?
User avatar #25 to #22 - nimba (11/26/2015) [-]
So if I buy your used car, then you take that money, buy a gun and kill someone it would be fair to say that's mostly my fault?
#27 to #25 - anon (11/26/2015) [-]
Except it wasn't just monetary support; perhaps you could learn some history instead of starting internet arguments on funnyjunk?
User avatar #29 to #25 - oxidoferroso (11/26/2015) [-]
>extremist are poor as **** , forced to live in a ****** village
>their ideas are contained and everybody laughs at them
>they find petrol
>West want petrol
>West buy petrol to the extremist, not only with money but with weapons and international support
>extremist are now rich as **** and can spread his ******** all over the desert
Is it so hard? Why don't you educate yourself a little before starting an argument?
User avatar #30 to #29 - nimba (11/27/2015) [-]
yeah, because giving someone a gun makes you more responsible for death than the person who pulls the trigger - way to completely strip agency from the actual bad guy to fit your agenda. The mental gymnastics are really quite amazing here, and the ad hominems only highlight fragile your little opinion is.
User avatar #31 to #30 - oxidoferroso (11/27/2015) [-]
I've stated enough times that the west is not the only responsible and you can't blame them 100%, but you keep bringing ****** analogies instead of voicing your opinion clearly
User avatar #32 to #31 - nimba (11/27/2015) [-]
Because I don't care as much as you do ;) ;) ;)

Truth is hard to accept
User avatar #19 to #16 - ninesundev (11/26/2015) [-]
And the bad thing is, that the Muslims who are not extremists flee them now and most of us deny them shelter.

So we **** up there country and now try to avoid the responsibility.
User avatar #21 to #19 - oxidoferroso (11/26/2015) [-]
I know, it's the same old story, good people paying for the sins of others
But it's not like we are actively denying them shelter, tho. There's too much people to take at once. And we know how that ends
I think that giving them asylum is only a short term solution, things need to be fixed in their home countries asap
