The face and mouth gestures of that actress make me want to punch her right in the kisser so hard. I think that means she's a good actress.

Ignore the Nazis they will go away sorry but I hated this idea that if you just ignore them they will go away like a fly or a basic non political asshole, bad political ideas need to be confronted an o person (can't say boy) millennial feminism is bad and angry. I find it cowardly and simplistic not to say some thing, but I understand people staying quiet all things considered
User avatar #90 to #47 - djequalizee (11/10/2015) [-]
If everyone ignored them they WOULD end up going away, because they feed off of the attention. The difference was the nazis were using force. Feminists are using twitter posts. It's a lot easier to dismiss a blog than Mauser.

In this particular case i really feel like the attention we give them is what's giving them the power.
User avatar #93 to #90 - emiyashirou ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
You see, the problem is, ignoring people on the internet isn't going to stop institutions from ignoring them. My university was forced to rename the building "Admin B" to Winnie Mandela, a terrorist who literally burned people alive in the 60's, because 'Admin B is racist and and an oppressive symbol of white supremacy'
User avatar #94 to #93 - emiyashirou ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
Also google Rhodes statue protests. Rhodes is a person who founded the University of Cape Town. They removed his name from all buildings, got rid of the Rhodes student aid fund (and replaced it with a fund that only aids black students), and tore down the statue of him on university grounds, which they're replacing with a statue of a guy who dropped out of the university.
User avatar #95 to #94 - djequalizee (11/10/2015) [-]
Damn that's ****** up. Honestly i'm trying to say i think it'd be better convincing people who are actually allowing this stuff to happen to ignore it. i.e. universities and schools, businesses, people they bully, etc. That seems like a better way to combat it then aggressively go after radfems and give them more fuel. It's kind of like wargames where the only way to win the oppression Olympics is not to give any sign you're playing.

I'm not saying we should ignore issues and do nothing, just that if everyone started flamewars with them they'd have more of a reason to keep doing what they're doing.

And you are perfectly entitled to your own opinion.
My take on this current wave of Feminism is that it is mostly a load of hot air. Previous waves of the Feminist movement paved the way for getting women the right to vote, to own property, to have the right to hold a job. All worthy causes necessary for the advancement of our civilization. But besides working to try to protect the right of women to abort and have access to birth control, what are are most of these SJWs really accomplishing?
I see all these protests, pathos drenched blogs, and tumblrina trigger circle-jerks mostly as people that desire change, but aren't doing any real work to see the change they want implemented. And really most of the change they want is impossible or is a complete violation freedom. This isn't a movement aimed at policy makers. It is movement built on a war on freedom of thought. SJWs want to censor what you think. This stopped being about expanding rights a long time ago and became about censoring everyone who refuses to conform to their agenda.
A lot of these modern protest movements are continuations of old movements whose work the protesters feel is unfinished. I'd argue that Black Lives Matter is a continuation of the Civil Rights Movement of the 60s, but that might be a little too generous. But the furious war of words and ideology clash happening is nothing new. America has always gone through periods of conservatism and liberalism, usually flipping between the two every decade or so. And the young tend to be more liberal, desiring change and the old more conservative, seeking stability because they remember when their generation explored new ideas. Time will tell what will come of this current movement's efforts. Of how many minds they can change or how long their ranks will stay interested in the cause. But I say not to worry. The more they scream for attention, the more they demand you change how you think, the more they deny you have the freedom to make up your own mind, the more we simply need to ignore them. They'll eventually get bored and it'll fizzle out to some end.

1- using nazis in any internet arguement is a insta loss, its a law
2- the nazis were a mass movement, and alot of bad **** had to happen for them to get in power, as in depression, starving population, post war destruction and persecution,

3-the feminism portrayed in this video is a VAST minority of even the femenist society, about 5% of all feminists would actually want a world like the one portrayed, and im probably over estimating. the majority of feminists are pre-occupied with **** like the wage gap, forced marriage, rape in third world countries.
in the world stage as a whole this small group of "femenist nazis" are completely redundant.

4-the nazis were VOTED in, do you really see these feminsits getting voted in ever? let alone even getting a proper political party together.

to even get voted in, needs a majority vote...if you literally cut out all males from the people you support, youve lost the vote. thats around 50% of the vote gone. its like nazis trying to get voted in in ******* israel. theyd never win.

1: if you ask "what is a nazi?" then you've used nazis for your argument but you'd still be correct.
2: feminism is a mass movement and women getting rights and coming to power is all the prerequisits for them to get voted in.
3: i hear this so very often. its the "vocal minority". i dont get it though, all the feminist i see on tv interviews and on recorded lectures say the same thing. they may refrain from some of the more toxic speech such as #killallwhitemen but they are definitly not pro-man in anyway. where did you get your 5% number exactly?
as for the pre-occupied argument, well you arent completely right, they are pre-occupied with the imaginary wage gap and pretty much nothing else. they dont care about forced marriage or rape in 3rd world countries becourse it does not affect them.
4: well, we have allready seen lots of countries making qoutas for women in high paying jobs, women lead quite a bit of political parties around the world and most of them have proclaimed themselves to be feminists. what you are saying is the exact same thing an anti-nazi person would say, a few years before the nazi party was voted in.

as for the rest, they dont cut out men completely, thats the amazing trick in it. mass propaganda to ensure that men will be informed that NOT supporting feminism is bad.
#87 to #66 - sesshii (11/10/2015) [-]
"1- using nazis in any internet arguement is a insta loss, its a law"
The law is flawed. When people compare people to Nazi's they aren't thinking about the holocaust, they are thinking about the group think and the policies that the nazi's was in favor of.
I don't think it should be tossed around without restraint, but when an accurate comparison can be made, it should be used.
"2- the nazis were a mass movement, and alot of bad **** had to happen for them to get in power, as in depression, starving population, post war destruction and persecution,"
Although not in the same scale, they have caused misery to men's rights movements who want equality in safe spaces, suicide programs, etc. by lobbying to prevent them from getting funding or the rights they want.

"3-the feminism portrayed in this video is a VAST minority of even the femenist society, about 5% of all feminists would actually want a world like the one portrayed, and im probably over estimating. the majority of feminists are pre-occupied with **** like the wage gap, forced marriage, rape in third world countries.
in the world stage as a whole this small group of "femenist nazis" are completely redundant."
Unfortunately this is not the case.

"4-the nazis were VOTED in, do you really see these feminists getting voted in ever? let alone even getting a proper political party together."
This is almost true. Hitler's party was 2nd in polls, but he abused the system to give himself power.
Feminists already have voted for leaders in many countries who support their views.
Obama, Merkel, Trudeao etc. They don't need to be feminist so long they let them have a free play ground. There are feminist parties spawned recently and they are growing fast i don't know if they will stop, but they most likely will get in power sooner or later cus of "ermagerd these parties can't do anything they promise, we need something new"

User avatar #99 to #46 - masterboll (11/10/2015) [-]
its more of a mentality than a joke, you asshurt tard

the whole point of the SJW strawman is to undermine anything remotely against right wing views
User avatar #100 to #99 - lulzdealer ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
Nah, it's just a joke.

User avatar #101 to #100 - masterboll (11/10/2015) [-]
im pretty sure that the SJW strawman is an actual villain to the right wing tards

and just because im against right wing faggotry, it doesnt necessarily mean im offended by it
User avatar #102 to #101 - lulzdealer ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
>anything contrary to the left is right wing faggotry

It's legitimately funny how triggered you're getting by a joke. What's even funnier is your insistence on taking a deeper meaning from a joke.
User avatar #103 to #102 - masterboll (11/10/2015) [-]
>anything contrary to the left is right wing faggotry
>anything
>implying SJW strawman counts as "anything"

>It's legitimately funny how triggered you're getting by a joke.
le ur so triggered xDDDD maybe if i keep saying it, you might eventually become offended xDDD

>What's even funnier is your insistence on taking a deeper meaning from a joke.
i actually explained that it wasnt a joke, its a mentality. my response would be "What's even funnier is that right wing faggotry has gotten such a grasp on your ballsack that you cant tell the difference between actual right wing tards saying it with seriousness and reasonable people mocking the extreme left"
User avatar #104 to #103 - lulzdealer ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
No argument's being made here, ergo there is no strawman.

Again, you're insisting on finding some deeper message behind a joke and what's more is you're all up in arms because it doesn't fit your world view. Some might say that these things are symptomatic of being triggered.
User avatar #105 to #104 - masterboll (11/10/2015) [-]
the strawman makes a point against the right wing tards who have gotten a grap onto you ballsack, ergo strawman is ignored.

i explained why there is no "deeper message" and that its actually the mentality that right wing tards have. it also pretty stupid to assume that i would allow the world view of right wing tards using strawman arguments to fit my own.

more "ur so trigger'd xDDDD" for extra meme face man meming :^)
User avatar #106 to #105 - lulzdealer ONLINE (11/10/2015) [-]
You keep making mention of a "mentality". What mentality, making jokes?

Keep crying about 'right wing tards', it really helps your case of not looking like a whiny little bitch.
User avatar #108 to #106 - masterboll (11/10/2015) [-]
read the previous comments about strawmen not actually being jokes rather than asking me a question ive already answered.

implying im "crying" by referring to tards as tards continues to make you look like a "ur so trigger'd xDDDD" memer. it doesnt really help your case either.
