i really want a business suit designed after the nazi SS uniform, not in the "kill non whites" way, but because hugo boss made some sleek ******* outfits.
My graduating company actually had twelve uniforms, they had both the union, and confederate's garb represented. This is called lineage squad, and is part of the boot camp graduation ceremony for the us army. The people who perform in the squad are those who do not have family coming to visit them. Tragic. hooah delta 2-47
we had that too, they were called duty squad. They popped a few smokes, and then ran through it wielding regular field gear with m249's and AT-4s just like we fired weeks prior. We had lineage squad come in before them.
Yeah, we just had the duty squad and that music from 'The Last of the Mohicans'. **** sucked in July getting all sweaty an **** in dress uniform. But nonetheless, I was so ******* happy to get out of that place. Of course, they put me in Hood, so **** still sucks.
The day of my graduation was 114 degrees and 99% humidity. the first time someone heat Casualtied was forty minutes into reception lol. I'm not going to GA ever again.
there were only three suicide attempts my cycle, all during reception. I only spent eight days there, and I was ready to quit. people who are holdovers or recycles have to spend months there, I don't know how I would survive. I knew a guy who was in reception for over a year, he got injured during FTX and was permanently paralyzed, he was getting two million dollars from the government, but he was close to being a fit 11b going airborne. Reception was the worst eight days of my entire life.
**** , I was in reception for two ******* weeks. I've never been so bored and sleep deprived in my life. I still miss the Army, though... agreeing to leave was the worst mistake I've ever made...
I thought M67s were the best. Grenades were the most fun I've had in my entire life. Drill Sergeants told us that the previous cycle someone got really ****** in the eye with a chalk round and they took it out. We used a course with blanks, but there was chalk dust everywhere.
Grenades was fun, I liked the M240B a lot too. I had a load of fun at AIT though, messing around with needles and spraying blood at my buddies (68W medic). Wha are you? Do anything fun at AIT?
m240 bravo was a lot of fun, but I prefered the M203s. The solid *clunk* after every 40mm was amazing. And the ranges for both demolition weapons were massive. like 400-500 meter targets for an AT-4. I'm a 92G (cook), but haven't gone to AIT yet as I'm split ops reserve. guys in my unit say its a ton of fun.
Didn't get one, I got the MOS cuz the councilor ****** me. Had an 85 on the ASVAB but I enlisted on christmas eve, and the civilian contractors just wanted to get outta there. I like cooking though, and its kinda fun for the two hours when we are actually making fun **** . 2 guys in my platoon were 92Gs though, 30k bonus. **** me!
