I once convinced a guy in multiplayer that eating my feces would give him the "power of greensight" and make him strong. He believed me. Then we beat the **** out of a triceratops. It was a good day.

you are on an island with dinosaurs, survive. what's the zany part? there's a level progression system that unlocks more and more advanced tiers of tech, at level one you probably can't even get to metal so i dont see the zanyniss

The zany part is being able to build advanced machinery such as Lathes from nothing.

you have to get halfway down the tech tree before you can learn to make one, and what's to say your person wasn't sent their with the knowedge, or better yet the gem in the middle of his arm could be a neural uplink to a large datacenter where given enough 'exp' he can download advanced diagrams and details for creating said machine, zany is usually used to describe something that is crazy or silly, not fictional. I'm not saying you have a wrong opinion or anything, i just don't think zany would be a descriptive word here unrealistic obviously, but it has dinosaurs

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I don't like the way everything sort of collides. It's too wild compared to another game of it's class, Rust.
