Slavery and Racism was brought together because Britain and America was buying slaves from Africa for how cheap they were selling them
People eventually grew a complex over years of living with African slaves that they thought they were better than them for their skin

White people can and have been slaves before

Also, Slavery was the fastest way to colonize/imperialize anywhere; without it we wouldn't be in this advancement of technology.
IE: It's morally wrong, but economically right

you know what's really awesome? my mum and dad are both irish born, belfast and dublin, and they have ancestors who were slaves, treated just as bad as black people were, yet we don't complain about it and hate british people(well ok we do but everyone hates britain so w/e) but now the SJW's are posting all these articles about how irish slaves are a "myth" created by racist white people. that really ******* pisses me off, because you know it would be a ******* ********* /race-war if someone came out and started saying black slavery was just a myth.

Well, slavery isn't just about the enslavement blacks or Africans. Wights have been slaves too in old times. The reason slaver and racism is brough together is because everyone from the 1950's and their decedents mainly remember the blacks where the one's who were mainly enslaved.

There is a difference.
