Oh **** , I just googled it, apparently he was the only double agent, and EVA tricked Snake because she wasn't actually EVA. EVA was apparently a guy. THIS ONLY RAISES MORE QUESTIONS!!! HOW DO YOU NOT GIVE THE GENDER OR DESCRIPTION OF YOUR AGENT'S CONTACT TO HIM?! WHY DOES OCELOT KEEP TRYING TO KILL SNAKE IF HE'S ON HIS SIDE?!?!?!

As most people have figured out Ocelot is the son of The Boss and The Sorrow and he was born during the invasion of Normandy. Now, here is where things get complicated (or plot hole your decide) when he was born on the battlefield he was taken from his parents. The Boss says it was the Philosophers who did it, but according to most everyone else he was taken in and raised by Spetznaz and Volgin. Regardless of which of the two is true we do know for a fact he was double agent. He is indeed ADAM but if he really was taken by the philosophers that contradicts the other story and if he was traitor to the Russians that contradicts the NSA code breaker story. Anyway, Ocelot was more clever than thought during operation snake eater. After the events of Snake Eater Ocelot came into contact with the KGB director and told the Khrushchev was done for, and that his time had come. They would then use the info they had from the operation to blackmail the US. However, Ocelot also contacted the director of the CIA telling them that they had only gotten half of the philosophers legacy, and that Russians still had the other half. The one EVA stole from snake was a fake the Ocelot plated because he was able to deduce she was a spy for China. Now, how does this tie in with Snake? Well, during his time with Snake he became infatuated with him and began to see him as a hero. So, he formed the Patriots with Snake and the others, but stayed in Russia in order to spy on the commies. Later down the road Snake would leave the Patriots because of a pissing contest between him and Major Zero. Ocelot stayed with the Patriots to spy on Zero for Big Boss. Skip all the way to 2005, The Shadow Moses Incident. Ocelot joined up with liquid to keep tabs on him for the Patriots, but only so he could get closer to destroying them in the name of Big Boss. It is not because he hated snake, but he needed to keep his ruse up with the Patriots. Also, there maybe a little dislike for snake because he did screw the Big Boss up to the point where he was able to caught by Zero and put in to coma by nanomachines.

There were 2 people ADAM and EVA and so Eva really was part of the mission working for the us pretending to be working for volgin but actually working for the chinese
