Seriously how many uptight Europeans are on this page that think they could have won WWI or WWII without the US?

The reason the US did so well during WW2 is primarily because they probably had one of the most advanced and quickest workforces in the world. It took the Navy a matter of month to restore their force while other countries would've taken years, they could churn out huge amounts of weapons and resources while everyone else was struggling to keep it together. They also had one of the most vicious and determined generals at the time.
To break it down:
The USSR had tons of people
The UK had strategy
The US had a **** ton of guns and food.

Since when has the US done well in wartime? Being secluded on an island, invasion is a natural difficult thing, as opposed to Russia having land borders that the Germans could cross through.

The US army has only won two wars, WW1 and WW2. Both required massive help from other allied nations, with the second one being a clear loss hadn't Germany jumped the gun on the USSR.

In addition the US has a history of spending more on their military than any other nation in the world. They have all the latest technology, and the two largest airforces in the world.

Not only that, but since WW2 they've only been at war with small nations and organizations. Not only have they had massive help in the Vietnam war and the Korean war, but they didn't win any of them, despite being far larger than both North Vietnam and North Korea.

Calling the US a succesful war nation is like saying a pretty big bloke in 7th grade is undefeatable because he only picks on 2nd graders, and won't go against 6-7th graders unless he has other guys to back him up.

You did win one war, though. The American Civil War. But that doesn't count, since you lost it too.

Ok, when you use a line from a ******* front page post (regarding the Air forces) it shows you have no ******* clue what you are talking about and are just trying to look like you do.

1) America didn't "Win" the First World War at all. **** , they were barely IN the first world war. They helped Britain, France and Russia win the first world war (and technically them self's i suppose), but they were the pawns.

The only reason they were there was for the men, plane and simple. **** , Britain lost half the amount of men America lost in one DAY than America lost in their entire stint in the First World War.

2) Germany didn't "Jump the Gun" on Russia. They realised that war with Russia was inevitable and decided that, because they had France and Britain either subdued or besieged, they would take the opportunity to invade Russia.

America wasn't in the war at the time and the only other nations in Europe who Hitler hadn't councured were the Spanish and the Italians (Both Fascist and one a close Allie.)

At the time Germany had no worries about invasion from the West so they didn't "Jump te Gun" at all, they were taking advantage of a situation.

3) America was not at war with smaller nations, they were at war with Communism. Do you think they cared about Korea or Vietnam? No. Did they care about Capitalism vs Communism? You bet your ******* ass they did.

The Wars in Vietnam and Korea were purely ideological. Whether North or South Korea won the Korean war didn't matter to the Americans. What mattered was the South were democratic and the North were Communist. That's it.

Also, technically, the UN (NOT Americans) DID win the Korean war. The UN forces ended the war with a territorial gain from the Pre-War 38th parallel border.

Please research stuff before you spout it out. You look like a bit of a moron.

"A german general officer"
"A soviet document"

Real credible sources you got their, mate. Quite frankly "Anonymous" is a more credible source than the above two, because at least then you're honest about where you got it.
