Milton Friedman - What is America? (Lecture) In the 19th and early 20th century, tens of millions of immigrants from all over the world came to America because it was better than every other country in the world. The freedom and opportunity to for people to live their lives as they saw fit produced the greatest economic expansion and the greatest improvement in the lives of ordinary people that the world had ever seen.

No guns no problem.

And in America Im from California. it sends me over the edge to know that people are so dense that they don't understand.

America is in so much **** that they cant afford to kill off/ Piss-off the major population. if you start killing off the poor that is 80-92% you will lose your tax/Economic flow. and with how much America throws into the military to start oppressing the people will stop the flow of militaristic power.

Its the only god send the American people have
1.Military
2.Consumption Nation. When you get more imports then Exports making you a prime target for Products form other nations.

"people are so dense that they don't understand." -Yeah man, everyone is stupid besides me.
"they cant afford to kill off/ Piss-off the major population." -This is possibley the most unexplained thing in your pointless, hippie rant.
"the major population." -Proofread, you're getting better! C-
"if you start killing off the poor that is 80-92% you will lose your tax/Economic flow." -This is the first inference I can make. This paragraph is about how USA is so bad, it can't even kill off the poor. You also think the poor control 80-92% of the economy in the US? You can just tell us that you just pulled those stats out of your self-important asshole.

******** I'm smug, I don't say others are 'dense', then bring up bogus points and statistics to make my statements look more thought out.
What does that fourth sentence mean anyways?

Joe, it's not about being scared of gov., or how many shootings you see.
The amount of gun incidints annually is just a little over 30,000.
There's an aprox. 270m civilians who own guns in the US.
Do you know how much time and money it would take to get rid of all guns?

What's going to happen to the guns?
Who are you hiring to get these guns from civilians?

The plan is there is no plan. When 270m people buy a product, the vast majority will intend on keeping it.

I'm not against a gun free society, it's honestly a different kind of world, but it's too late for America to do anything about it.
If you really think it's not going to leave a dent in your wallet, think again.

Why don't you try and set up gang peace conferences, or maybe charities to shooting victims?

Im not saying to confiscate them just stop selling them/giving out permits for them.

Eventually the guns will stop circulating and if you stop selling ammunition bet how fast guns will run out of bullets to cap in your ass.

Gun circulate? Guns are slabs of plastic, wood, and/or metal. They have a huge lifespan.
Maybe ammo circulates a little more, but the average ratio to how many guns owned to how many gun deaths annually is 10 in 100000, so not a lot of people are using that ammunition.
Anyways, a trade ban on all things guns will only make the problem worse, because you're putting guns into the black market.
Sure, the value of a gun will forever be at an incline up, but the trade will still be alive, see alchohol prohabitions. When a society gets something, they don't let go.

I didn't say '300thousand', I said 30000.
It sounds like that 30000 incidents are concentrated in your area, so much that you don't trust the guy to the left to not be a criminal.
Maybe you should just move to a safer area, that's what birds do.
You should really look up to birds; when there is danger, or they feel they are in danger if they settle in, they move.

It's not moral insanity to think for more than just 30,000 incidents, which all don't end up with a death.
Imagine implementing a ban all guns law.
The whole guns market is gone.
Taxes rise steeply to supply enforcement to the new anti-gun workers.
The hard worker is ****** even more out of his money.
Hundreds of thousands of people would have to make cuts to their budgets.
Prices soar for several businesses.
US is only profitable if the disposable income matches up with the profit margin needed for a business to survive.

These are all real consequences which can happen if you think throwing money at the goverment will do anything.

Seriously, consider moving out if you think it's so dangerous.
Don't be stupid.

Also, if it's so dangerous, why can't everyone who wants to get out, just get out?
Everyone has the freedom to increase their lifespan.
Don't smoke, you'll live longer.
Eat healthy, you'll live longer.
Get out of a dangerous town, you'll live longer.

It's obviously a lot of money and a big risk to move out, but you have to do it if you're so mentally insane, that you duck when you see a car drive slowly.

Speaking hypothetically, you can own guns legally in pretty much any country - I just don't see the use of it. The only reason I'd need a weapon would be in a situation, in which another dude owns a gun.

No gun for him = no need for me to have one.

It doesn't matter what the object in question is, if the people have a way to kick out the government and put a new one up, then the government is not gonna say "**** it, we control these people. We can screw them over and there's nothing we can do about it".

That's because the people are giving the government a damn good reason to straighten themselves out. People in Korea have no defense against their government, so the government there can do whatever they want. And it's always the same people in their government, in America we change people out for new people, that means if they screw over the people, they'll get screwed over when they leave office.

Maybe you don't care what governments do with other people's money because you live under someone's roof.

I don't have a "can't stop now" attitude. I mean sure, it'd be retarded to try and disarm America, it'll never happen, but not because it's too late, but because there isn't a gun problem here. This statistic is the most common one, but seriously, there are roughly 11,000 gun homicides a year, in a country of 314 MILLION people. Did you know our 25 biggest cities (New York, L.A., Chicago, etc) only make up roughly 10% of our population? That's because America is ******* huge. 3,718,710 square miles (9,631,420 square km) huge. It's not the bang boom ******** most people get from TV, that's just popcorn fodder for the masses, both here and abroad. Truth is, lots of people own guns, and almost no one gets shot, because they're not homicidal sociopaths. We're just free to have them, as we should be. To insinuate disarming all of America because of some fractional percentage is nonsense. It's different in other countries, because of their size and location. I'm not saying that to sound like an asshole, it's a geographical thing. All I'm saying is it's not that we're wrong for having guns, it's fine here. No crazy killers on the corner. Most Americans look like the rest of the world. We wake up, take a ****, like the sunshine, and generally try not to snarl at people at work. It's just that a lot of us have guns. But there's nothing wrong with that here.

Von Braun had been under SD surveillance since October 1943. A report stated that he and his colleagues Riedel and Gröttrup were said to have expressed regret at an engineer's house one evening that they were not working on a spaceship and that they felt the war was not going well; this was considered a "defeatist" attitude. A young female dentist who was an SS spy reported their comments.[9]:38–40 Combined with Himmler's false charges that von Braun was a communist sympathizer and had attempted to sabotage the V-2 program, and considering that von Braun regularly piloted his government-provided airplane that might allow him to escape to England, this led to his arrest by the Gestapo.[9]:38–40
The unsuspecting von Braun was detained on March 14 (or March 15),[40] 1944 and was taken to a Gestapo cell in Stettin (now Szczecin, Poland),[9]:38–40 where he was held for two weeks without knowing the charges against him. Through the Abwehr in Berlin, Dornberger obtained von Braun's conditional release and Albert Speer, Reichsminister for Munitions and War Production, convinced Hitler to reinstate von Braun so that the V-2 program could continue.[9]:38–40 Quoting from the "Führerprotokoll" (the minutes of Hitler's meetings) dated May 13, 1944 in his memoirs, Speer later relayed what Hitler had finally conceded: "In the matter concerning B. I will guarantee you that he will be exempt from persecution as long as he is indispensable for you, in spite of the difficult general consequences this will have."==

They decided not to kill him.

The Soviets were coming so he purposely moved to West Germany. Either way, he chose to be an American over being a German.

I think you just agreed with my point.

The children born in America are citizens. Citizens make up social organizations. The national debt is just the promise to tax future generations--generations which are indebted against their will. Hell, they're not even alive to vote for the guys putting them in debt. I consider that taxation without representation.

Observe above graphical display of information. The money is owed to US citizens. The taxes pay for government programs and functions.

Federal Debt' is the amount of capital that federal government owes to creditors, it is not a promise to impose future taxes. Taxes would not go away if there were no debt . Even if it were, many pay little or no taxes while a few pay the majority of taxes. the whole 1% of the population controlling 99% of the wealth idea cuts both ways. The 1% also pays 99% of the taxes
