If it is, it's from some years ago. I saw that posted by someone about 3-4 years ago and the top comment was someone editing the "Virginia" to read "Virgin". I believe the person said they were no younger then about 13 or something.
It is something that I have enjoyed since I was about 9. I have practiced on and off since then. I think of it as a pretty solid balance of art form and sport.
I greatly enjoy the way that I can continually advance and learn new techniques. It is not like some things where you hardly notice as you improve. You know when you've got a technique down. Plus at my level, mid-intermediate, you burn approximately 1200 calories per hour of skating due to a combination of the cold and the exercise itself. No way will you gain weight if you ice skate regularly.
As an art form I like how smooth it is. Once I have practiced a technique sufficiently I can just string it together with other moves I have learned and flow from one thing to the next. It is a really great feeling, honestly. There is a sort of calm on the ice that just catches me up. It is weird trying to describe it, but hopefully you get the idea of what I am saying.
I mean, it's not going to be fun getting a face full of chain even if the power gets cut off, smacking the fleshy bits of your face on that will not go well.
"scratch up his face pretty badly"
ill scratch it up way worse falling on my keys i think
or...simply on gravel
i mean you have to hit that saw pretty awkward to actually get "scratched up pretty badly"
Oh yeah, you'd almost have to be trying to hit it while you're falling forwards, but nonetheless I think it'd prolly be as bad or worse than falling on gravel if you somehow were to **** up and trip onto it.
Notice that he is shifting all of his weight in the back. The odds of him falling forward so long as he stays like that are pretty low compared to what would happen if the chain were to slip out of the ice.
i know, i know, in all honesty, we could've won that game, against Detroit at home, and against Denver, if our ******* coaching staff would just make adjustments, otherwise, yes, you and those 2 other teams won. Our coaching staff is screwing us over. They're so bullheaded, belligerent, and arrogant that they're the problem. It's pissing me off and the majority of packer backers here. The fact that we lost every streak/record this season is just heartbreaking.
I just saw a video on how last years game against Seattle in the NFC Title game could've been the beginning of the end for Thompson and McCarthy, like it was their 4th and 26 or The Catch 2. They might be right.
dude, we're on the edge of the worst collapse in Packer's history, this is about as bad as the 2014 Milwaukee Brewers season. We were 6-0 now 7-4, at the rate we're playing, we maybe out of the playoffs by the end of the season. At least the Giants STILL have a chance for the division title given how weak the East is right now.
It sucks so much because our coaches aren't doing a damn thing and are being so stubborn and arrogant right now.
