If I remember correctly this is just him being a total asshole saying he'd have not trouble fighting and beating an opponent one of his disciples is almost loosing to.
Apparently even as a kid he was a fighting genius and stronger than an an adult so you can imagine how cocky he grew up to be, his parents are a personal and are geniuses in their own right but I don't want to give too much away.

Aww hell no. The main dude, because its a ******* sin to call him the hero, more like anti-hero, was strong before the start of the manga, but so strong in Aikido, he lax finesse and go all power assault. So his father, an aikido practitioner and a anatomy expert, minutely dislocate all his joints, and re-joined them with a few micrometer of differences, yeah the father is that expert in human anatomy. This cause the main dude to lose at least 50% of his fighting power. So, over the next few chapters, he compensate this by getting more finesse in Aikido, which he already master.
And he is smug as hell. And unlike Strongest Disciple which just tease you with lewdness, AIKI manga outright show you what goes on when a manly man and a cowgirl got passionate, hot and bothered. Be mindful that the artist is an accomplished H-manga artist. His artstyle is very, very distinctive.
