I'd always multiply by 10 then subtract the number I should've multiplied by 9.

And the two numbers always add up to nine.
1x9=09 0+9=9
2x9=18 1+8=9
3x9=27 2+7=9
4x9=36 3+6=9
etc
1x9=09 0+9=9
2x9=18 1+8=9
3x9=27 2+7=9
4x9=36 3+6=9
etc

This one is obvious but the trick i taught my self in like what 4th5th grade for the times tables was for 6s was that you take half of your multiplier as your first digit and then your multiplier as your second digit. The system starts to mess up in double digits where its easier to memorize than use the system but as a young child It made things easier
6x2= 2/2 2,12
6x3 =3/2 1.5 5+3= 18
6x4=4/2 4= 24
6x2= 2/2 2,12
6x3 =3/2 1.5 5+3= 18
6x4=4/2 4= 24

because its not that hard
adding 9 is the same as adding 10 and subtracting 1
adding 9 is the same as adding 10 and subtracting 1
