**** Marvel. Anyone who works at a Movie Theater as an usher will say the same.

Because of them, now the ushers have to wait until everyone leaves after the credits to every goddamned movie. Even ones without anything after the credits. Even when you tell them that there's nothing after the credits. Now you only have half the time to clean up the popcorn mess that someone apparently gave 0 ***** about and just smashed into the floor like an autistic child.

Also, **** tobacco chewers. Leaving that **** in the cup holder. You disgusting waste of human flesh.

Deal with it or find a new job. Try working retail during Christmas sales time.

I have no idea how much I understand your pain. I too once worked for a movie theater, and now forever hate any child movies because of the popcorn ********* they leave behind.

Oh my gosh providing a service to your customers must suck so bad
it would be so great if just no one ever went to the movies so you wouldn't have to clean. Oh but wait! then you wouldn't have a job

You waited 2 hours for people to get up and leave. Are you saying that you're too impatient to wait 10 more ******* minutes for the credits to stop rolling?

I'll defend him. If it's anything like my work, our bosses don't give a ****, especially on midnight premiere. Can't say I dont want Marvel's dick in my mouth, but it still sucks.

They don't just stand around and wait 2 hours for them to leave, they have to get it clean for the next showing, and have other theatres to clean obviously

If you're going to bash him, do it right

It's not that usher's are impatient its just that we have other theaters to go to. Usually at the same time.
No one wants to go to a theater in **** condition, but its not helping if you wont let us do that when you:
A. Show up to the movie 1-2 hours early and still sit in the seat.
B. Stay in your seat even after the credits are done.

If anything... I feel this guy's pain. Thor 2 after credits was **** and worthless though...

i do agree with you on what your saying, but i used to be a closing cashier at a grocery store and hated when people came in ten minutes before and shopped around, so i didn't get to start cleaning for another 10-15 after we closed instead of right at closing time. its basically the same thing, he has a job to do in a timely manner and cant do said job if people don't leave

Except his closing time is when the movie finishes, and the after credit scenes are part of the movie. Getting mad at a 2 hour movie + end credit scenes is like getting mad at a 2 hour and 10 minute movie, they are exactly the same so by his logic all movies should just be really short so he can clean up and leave faster.

99% of people leave at the start of the credits when there isn't a scene after wards. If people don't leave at the start of the credits, he cant start cleaning and get the theater ready for the next showing in a timely manner. sure waiting for the credits is still the same as waiting for a 2 hour ten minute movie, but your still forgetting about how the movies are spaced apart and the little time that they have to clean theaters before the next showing.

Ive heard from people working at theaters that they really only have 5-10 minutes to clean the whole theater before they start letting people in for the next showing in 20 minutes. So any time that he could gain by cleaning during the credits is lost by people staying through the end for a scene that may or may not be there.

I would assume that the theaters would know that there are after credit scenes and space out their timing according to those scenes and not the credits, that is what I'm basing my analysis on. But yes, if the theaters do plan their schedule based on the credits and not the after credit scenes then that is stupid and I would be pissed off too. Of course that would be the theaters fault and not Marvels.

they base their spacing on movie end times. When you go to a theater, the time of the movie is, say, 140 min. That's including the credits. Its everything on the reel (or disk) that they get to show. Regardless of end credits or after credit scenes. They play the next movie about 20 minutes-half hour AFTER the end of the reel or disk.

Like i said, they have to clean the theater before they start letting people into the next show, so any time that they can save by cleaning during the credits is lost when people stay after.

I completely agree with you. With so little time between movie showings I can see why someone would be upset by people not leaving at the credits. Again, my argument was never to say that the guy shouldn't be upset by this, it was just to say that his anger in Marvel was misplaced and should be redirected at the theater.

I dont work at a cinema so I dont know, but maybe they dont have a lot of time of cleaning inbetween certain movies? Or just where he is working anyway. Not trying to defend him to my death, just thought that might be the case and its a touchy subject for him or something i dont know sorry

When they showed thanos at the end of Avengers I knew they were probably going with the infinity gauntlet. But when they finally started talking about the infinity stones at the end of Thor 2 I just started jumping up and down out of pure excitement like a little girl.

Man, the thing at the end of Thor 2 literally blew my ******* mind. Thanos is building the ******* Infinity Gauntlet. I knew he would be in it, but ****. They're probably going to have all of the marvel movies lead up to just one gigantic movie with X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers (The complete team with Black Panther and Ant Man), Spiderman, and some other ****** all just going after Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet. It will literally be the greatest movie event of all time.

that actually sounds like a pretty ****** movie. It sounds like there would be WAY too many people running around with these epic powers, and there wouldn't be enough screen time to fill, lets say 20 heroes, along with the villain and his minions. It would either have to be an incredibly long movie, or all action, no story
