When I was in Judo, we used to call Uchi Mata "Gooch-i Mata" because the throw utilizes the leg in between the opponent's legs to throw the them, most of the time hitting them in the crotch.
Any other FJs here that did Judo? Look it up on youtube if you want to see it. I was tall for a Japanese kid (I'm half Caucasian-German, which is probably why) so they made me practice Uchi Mata and others like Tai Otoshi
I've been training Jiu Jitsu for about a year from 2014-2015, before I had to take a break due to the intensity of IB high school course, my bad knee, as well as my laziness. I don't really know the names of throws/locks/chokes, however I do know how to perform some of them.
I will probably start going to a Judo school next year once I'm done with high school though.
I haven't, but a friend of mine did Judo.
He got into a street fight once and tried to take-down a guy using one of the scissor kick moves.
The move itself worked out fine - but he kind of ****** up, because he was on the ground too when he noticed the other guys friends around him...
They kicked the **** out of him.
My ex took krav self defense classes and it was just "kick him in the balls. Gouge his eyes out. Kick him in the balls again." We used to wrestle all the time and idk if she was just bad at it, letting me win, or her school sucked. I broke up with her because of it.
Yea. I trained in bjj and grw. She made it sound like there was a lot of it. The only thing she did was try and go for a rear naked. I tried to show her other things or even how to escape them, but like I said, she was either stupid or faking it.
Isn't that the protector or something? That guy in that movie and Ong bok is ******* graceful. Some of the best technical striking I have seen in my life
