Isn't it the accidental cause of someones death?
User avatar #8 to #7 - pfccross (01/08/2016) [-]
ya, and they call it MANSLAUGHTER O.o
User avatar #9 to #8 - niimajneb ONLINE (01/08/2016) [-]
Well it's not murder, and it's technically slaughter a human.

google defines it as killing an animal for food. so MANslaughter implies by definition that you are killing a man for food :|

It's because it's accidental, so years later you can laugh it off. Because of the man's laughter after a few years, it was called manslaughter.

In late December 1991, Lewis was arrested after he crashed his car, head on, into a car driven by 21-year-old Isabel Duarte, in Potomac, Maryland. Duarte, a resident of nearby Bethesda, later died from her injuries. Lewis was charged with drunk driving.[6][7][8]

In 1993, Lewis was convicted of manslaughter with a motor vehicle and driving while intoxicated in Montgomery County, Maryland Circuit Court. The court sentenced Lewis to five years in prison, but suspended four, citing Lewis' work after his arrest with a prison-based theater troupe which performed in jails, schools and churches, to highlight the consequences of drug abuse. Lewis was also ordered to serve two years' probation after his release and to perform 350 hours of community service.

why did they hash tag that last bit
User avatar #17 to #16 - brobyddark (01/09/2016) [-]
Tumblr allows you to search up posts based on words, and I *think* the hashtag is added by the system to identify the post? Or the user went back in and hash-tagged it after they saw how many notes it was getting so it'd be easier to find

If you can search based on words, you inherently don't need the hastag, eh?

Well, with the hashtag it would show that post, rather than a page that happens to contain a few related words or all the words.
