Make FJ green?

 
I can make it where if you click a link (or some stupid button) it sets a cookie in your computer

ONCE AGAIN, THIS IS AN OPTIONAL THING.

this cookie will override site colors, i.e. click it and FJ turns green
click it and you get dick butt thumbs

convince me to waste a few hours doing it and I will
or provide the css changes for me and it will make things much easier, cause i'm no interior designer

or just give me a ton of thumbs and i'll do it

Some artists started making high quality SVG FJ related image and posted them on the site.

If you wanna try, you can do this:
- download inkscape, it's free and easy to use: inkscape.org/en/

Can you make it possible to open images and webms in a new window, and make it possible to send to people with only the content in the new window? it was possible before, but now when i try it, it sends the comment/content

it's a cookie thing i think, whenever i link a video's posted url, if i click the link i'l only get the video, but they get the content or comment chain that the video was posted in

If i try to give a webm from a webm compilation to a friend it redirects it to the entire post, not knowing which was .

damn the traffic rush ruins some great things

I don't know if someone has answered you yet, but the way you fix it is by copying the link and switching the word "static" to "new" in the html. then it will just be the picture/link.

the way you can send webms to people without directly linking to fj is replacing 'static' in the link with 'new'

in the first one it links to the comment where i found the video and the second one just links to a black screen with the video. also it works with pictures, new instead of static, also dont mix up the numbers

I stopped sending most funnyjunk-related stuff to others, since the current system is retarded. when i want to show a picture of a comb, i have to tell them where exactly the picture is i wanted to show them. i dont want this, others dont want this, i end up sharing fj-related stuff.

if thats what you wanted good job.

When you visit funnyjunk pages, comment and so on the page automatically refreshes I think, im not sure , so the ads admin put here generate some money.

In general, traffic is what makes the page generate money, so yeah bringing more people would increase traffic, and also spamming fj 24/7 would increase traffic and so, money

That's media - and you're talking about bought vs. sold. Those you see on FJ have been sold to advertisers - and FJ has committed to X# of eyeballs on that ad. To get more eyeballs, using redirects is lame, when media is so cheap - FJ should buy some cheap media and advertise FJ on OTHER sites to get more people here, rather than rely on just our sharing it - especially if they make the UX so bad that people I share with are all like:::
"where the **** is what you wanted to share with me? the crap on this page has nothing to do with what i thought you were going to share. not sure if we are friends anymore, since you're being an asshole and sharing things that are irrelevant when i get to them."

Listen, I know I don't run the website and all, and I have no real right to say this, That's why you're admin and not me but is that really such a good idea? I mean yeah, people like to talk about the stuff as it used to be and all, but I really don't think it would be a good idea to make a function that's purely aesthetic.
