Magic

You guys I' m in Disney World and
this afternoon my blood sugar
dropped so low I got separated from
my family and somehow bought an
ice cream and then blacked out and
woke up on a bench with chocolate
sauce all over my arms and Mickey
Mouse putting a cold tower on my
head this truly is a magical place.

I work at Disney world (magic kingdom to be specific) and let me tell you why i'm sure this is ******** ,
if you pass out in a park a cast member will see you and they will have people there to assist you very quickly. No character assistant would allow mickey (who would have a big ass line of people wanting to see him) step away from his location to help a fainted guest let alone carry a wet rag with his gloves.

It's a less severe blackout essentially. You've probably experienced it while standing up too fast. In short, it's caused by hypoxia.

When I was 16 and went to Disney Land with my family. I got a low and my mom got me a Churro and I sat on a bench and nibbled on that heavenly overpriced fried dough stick. As a Diabetic, I say "When I am low, give me anything! I don't like being low!"
The symptom I get the most with my lows is anxiety. Yes juice is best, but anything is better than nothing and maybe their mind saw the ice cream first?
A few times I was so low, I would crawl down the stairs, lie on the floor in front of the fridge with the door open and eat tortillas. Then when I am better I just wonder wtf I was thinking with the tortillas.

As a medical fag, I can verify that many diabetics don't listen to half the **** they're told, so that part is at least somewhat believable. 4 out of every 1000 people with diabetes will have a toe/foot/leg amputated because they don't manage their diabetes. 4 out of every 1000 people is a ******* lot when you're talking about AMPUTATIONS in one of the most common diseases in the US.

Ice cream would also be a bad choice because it's fatty (which delays absorption of the sugar).

Either:
A) You think that diabetes is only hyperglycemia and don't know that hypoglycemia is a serious concern with treatment. People take medicines to lower their blood sugar. They can lower it too far.
B) You're upset because I used the word "diabetics" instead of "people with diabetes."

If A, you're a moron. Not because you didn't know that particular piece of information, but because you're trying to correct people when you have no idea what you're talking about.

By this logic, someone being bald isn't cancer's fault, it's the chemo. We shouldn't associate the hair loss with cancer because cancer doesn't make you lose your hair.
