Lynx are usually solitary animals and will spend their time both hunting and resting alone, however a small group of lynx may travel and hunt together occasionally. Lynx mating takes place in the late winter and the female lynx will give birth to two to six kittens after a gestation period of about 70 days. Female lynx will usually give birth to a litter a year. The young lynx kittens stay with the mother lynx for around nine months meaning that the lynx kittens will have the mother lynx to watch over them during their first winter. The lynx kittens then move out to live on their own as young adults. It is known that adult lynx will give their young the prey to play with it before they eat it as this thought to develop their hunting skills.

Lynxes are the largest in their family of cats. Cyberian being the biggest, then Canada's. They have an extremely short tail. They are very agile and double jointed, making it easier to hit birds out of the air. I work with 2 syberians, one's an awesome cuddle machine, the other is evil.

If I remember reading somewhere, in the elder scrolls games they based khajeets off of lynx's. They do look pretty similar now that i look at a few.

Depends. In the first two games they were humans who painted their faces to look like cats. They went full feline with Morrowind and Oblivion afterwards, but that was still a mix between domestic cats and jaguars/panthers kind of look. But some Khajiits in Skyrim actually look like lynxes, maybe because Skyrim is a cold, forested province and that's the climate lynxes thrive in.

I'm not sure if I saw one of these or a bobcat when I was riding my bike on my exercise route last month, he was stalking a bird and it was amazing to witness

Probably a bobcat unless you're in Canada/Russia. Plus these guys are way bigger, so if it was roughly small dog sized, it's bobcat.
