while that's a great cut, he still broke part of the patio.
but that all could have been avoided had he just spiked up the tree
and cut it into pieces.
And where do the pices fall you genius? You'd have to suspend every single one of them and make them small. And that's a big tree. He has it down, dragged away and the patio fixed, before he'd be halfway through when cutting from the top. And it costs way less cause gas and **** .
you wouldn't be damaging anything if he cut it from top to bottom.
but i honestly think whoever hired this person was like " **** the deck i want this done in an hour".
I agree, and you can't just climb a tree with a ladder and start hacking away, you need proper equipment, like a cherry picker. I'm sure the deck cost less that renting a cherry picker or any other type of tools. Besides, who knows, maybe he secretly hated the deck and just did not give a **** .
When he cut off the top the roots became heavier than the remainder of the trunk, so the roots were able to tip back into the hole, pulling the trunk up with it.
the laundry machine one looks like it has a vertex missing from the platform to hold it up, if not i would be ABSOLUTELY amazed, im still impressed though
my grandad was a lumber jack and you could point to a place on the ground and he would take two sticks put them the distance apart of the top of the tree and lay it down in between them every time god how i miss that man
