Here's the poetry scene from the movie. This psyched me up almost as much as the battle itself did

I really love these.

[spoiler] Btw, if you ever run out of ideas you should make the witch king facts part 2 or something. not saying you have to but it could be something cool.

My younger brother is playing War of The North right now, and he just met the Eagle. I didn't know the Eagles speak in mortal tongue. Can they, or is this just bullshit?

Nigga the horses can talk in Middle-Earth and theres weed smoking midgets who live in holes, talking eagles is pretty on par for Tolkiens work lol.

This is a question to anyone who knows. In one of galgawine's previous comps (I think it was the first of season 2) it was said that hobbits were incorruptible by the ring but Smeagol was a hobbit or at least "of hobbit-kind" and Frodo was a hobbit who at the end of the series seemed corrupted, why is that the case?
User avatar #72 to #65 - galgawine (07/09/2014) [-]
They are not incorruptible (if i said that, thats wrong sorry) they are just much harder to corrupt. The Ring amplifies whatever desires you have and uses that turn you evil, like how Boromir wanted to save Gondor and he ends up attacking Frodo for the Ring because he thought it would help him save Gondor. Hobbits though, don't really have any desires so they are hard for the Ring to corrupt, but it does happen with time, Frodo turned at the end in Mt. Doom and Bilbo was that scary face man in the Fellowship movie. As for why Smeagol killed his friend right away I have a few theories of my own:
1: Smeagol is a different breed of hobbit than Frodo, Sam and the others, and he also lived in a different place, not in the shire. This could have led to a harder life where he actually DID have a lot of desires because he did not grow up in a peaceful paradies like the others.
2: He was an asshole. Frodo, Sam, and Bilbo are all nice guys down at heart but if Smeagol was a cunt than the Ring could have played off that to corrupt him very easily.
3: The Ring has different effects on people anyway, like Boromir and Faramir. Boromir goes fucking bonkers for the Ring and Faramir turns that shit back where it came from, even though they are close brothers.
Hope this helps, sorry its wordy :/
