Hey English as a Second Language here but... wouldn't it be "I Have not spat on my keeper in [x] days!" ?

Technically, yes. But in general conversation nobody would ever notice or care.

Spat if you're talking about saliva. Spitted if you're talking about spitting something on a spit.
User avatar #17 to #10 - languagexplain (05/17/2014) [-]
Whoa, Llamas AND language. I'd feel double relevant if your question hadn't already been adequately answered.

But yeah, it's like ' ***** and 'shat'.
User avatar #26 to #10 - ningyoaijin (05/17/2014) [-]
Britfag here... Spit and spat are both acceptable, I think. Spat is the technically correct one but I wouldn't correct someone who said spit.
#33 to #10 - anon (05/17/2014) [-]
" I have ____ (object) " is the present perfect tense, where the _____ is the past participle of the verb. So this is really an issue of: What is the past participle of "spit"?

spit and spat are both generally acceptable. spitted is somewhat common but more unfavored.

In Australia I've always seen the past tense of 'spit' as 'spat', but whenever I read it in a book written outside of Australia it seems to be 'spit'. I assumed it was an American thing.
#16 to #15 - asugar (05/17/2014) [-]
It can be both. I prefer "spat".

if you ever see a llama, kiss a llama on the llama, llama, llama, tastes of llama, llama, llama, duck. I was once a treehouse, i lived in a cake, but i never saw the way the orange slayed the rake, i was only three years dead but i'll tell the tale, so listen little child to the safety rail.

Repeat

To #3 and #4...Are you two dim? It's to show that it's been 19 days since being spit on. If the picture only showed a "0" then you'd be asking "Well **** , how many days did it not spit on him/her?" 19 days, apparently.

Why write that in red, when you are clearly going to have to rewrite that in black.

Here's how this plays out. First the llama finds out what it's like to spit on me. Second, I find out what llama barbeque tastes like.
