That's not how it works. Light, temperature and emotional state bring about a chameleon's change in colour.

This is absolutely fake. Chameleon's don't change color in response to their environment; that's just a popular myth.

Chameleons change colour based on heat, attraction and how they're feeling, simply, they DON'T change colour to match their surroundings. Enjoy this video everybody. True Facts About The Chameleon

The Chameleon looked sad when the hand went away.

I'm amazed that the chameleon apparently didn't look to see the green pair, but its arm started turning green up.
So either it's fake, or it helps explain how the **** colour-changing-animals work.

Okay, I'm pretty sure everyone has posted that they change color due to mood and all that other **** . Post a different comment that isn't saying this is fake and why along with anything else along those terms.

This is fake. Chameleons change color based on their mood, not at will.

Does anyone have the ful video? I've watched it before and I remember he does around 4 different colors of sunglasses, then at the end the chameleon touches all four of them at once and looks like a rainbow, but more swaggalicious.

I own a Veiled Chameleon (the kind in the gif) and they DO NOT turn purple in any way shape or form. They can be dark brown and black when its cold, and they can turn cool turquoise patterns when they're angry.

Most of they time they look like it did in the beginning of the gif

Some chameleons do actually change color for camouflage but its more of a secondary use and few species use it for this. This however does look pretty fake.
