Live-action Attack on Titan

Casting is currently underway. Filming is set to begin early next summer, and Toho says the film should be in theaters sometime in 2015. That’s still a while off, but if Attack on Titan continues to be the pop culture darling it has become, opening day is sure to be packed. Make sure to get to the theater early, and if you could, we’d really appreciate it if you saved a seat for us.

I don't care how bad they're going to make it, but i would ******* love it if they pull off the absolute horror people experienced when they first saw titans eating people.

I'm looking forward to this. Live-action adaptations of manga and video-games are getting better by the year.

A few good examples are the Gantz, Ace Attorney and Rurouni Kenshin live-action movies.

Damn, Rurouni Kenshin had some awesome action sequences.

i really hope they have a multi-cultural cast, instead of using all japanese actors/actresses.

mikasa was considered valuable by the slavers because she was asian and uncommon

In all actuality most of the actors should be German with a few other ethnicities.

Feels good to like PR over ATT right now.

Hope it's better than the live action porn of the show I've been seeing.

It's probably gonna ruin the uncanny-ness of the titans. You know, giant heads and the like. They'll just look like giant humans, because doing weirdly proportioned body parts in real life would just look silly.

I guess they'd have to make up for it with the human eating.

Not really an AoT fan, but this seems like a really good idea.

On a whim i went to the local bookstore in my dead end town today, was pleasantly surprised to find the AoT manga there, would have brought them all but it was only like issue, 5, 7 and 8 -_-

Why is the wall metallic, like a modern building? Anyone who reads the Manga knows that it's extremely important that the wall be made out of what it's made out of.

I'll be a optimist, and try to think that it could be at least visually good, but it wont. Titans ( i hope ) will be done goodly, but the humans can't be too much CGI-enhanced- And that is bad, considering the **** they pull off the the manga and the anime.
And story wise, good luck getting that stupid, Dragonball pupil of a story into a 2+ hour movie. Deadly serious, that **** is treching so much, lot of stuff can be done in one chapter, but they still prolong the **** out of it.

But i Still Like the series. Anime was nice, and the manga is good too.
I still don't see the point of this movie besides MONEY -Here's to another lousy Anime movie adaption.
Is a anime movie with Pacific Rim style of execution, CGI and general **************************************** movie that hard to do?

I'll shut up now.
