Fun fact;

Mace Windu's lightsaber color, purple, is largely the result of his mastery of Vapaad.

The younger Jedi usually have blue lightsabers. The reason for this is because blue represents youth and innocence.

When Jedi become more mature and secure in their training, they generally upgrade to a green lightsaber (green representing maturity). (Episodes IV-VI show Luke starting out with a blue lightsaber, then gaining a green one by Episode VI, which is a subtle indication that he has grown in his abilities as a Jedi.)

Purple is a blend of blue and red (red being the Sith color representing passion more than evil). That's why Mace Windu is just about the only Jedi to use that color--Vapaad is essentially the combination of good and evil; i.e., red and blue.

Can a Jedi or Sith master more than one type of form? Like combine them? I know Starkiller was skilled in multiple but is there others who are also skilled in multiple?

Does there really need to be that much thought put into "touch them with my laser before they touch me with their laser"?
User avatar #65 to #55 - soupkittenagain (03/22/2014) [-]
Well if you had poorer laser touching skills than your opponent, then you would be touched much more.

Actually, there are 4 more forms. They do not have number assigned to them and seem to be less used, so I guess they might be assumed to be lesser/minor forms. I did not find general descriptions, only descriptions of specific techniques, but I think those are descriptive enough. I've always found TrĂ kata as the most interesting. Found it on wookiepedia I believe.s

High Ground Defense: Usually involves environment, combatants made use of large amounts of terrain, trying to maneuver their opponents into vulnerable areas during the course of battles that involved Sokan techniques.

Unhindered Charge: Rapid movement towards the opponent, ignoring difficult terrain and obstacles.

Twin Strike: A duel-wielding strike that the character simultaneously swings both lightsabers to act as a strong-attack. Both lightsabers meet the target or object.
Rising Whirlwhind: A duelist swings his lightsabers about his body, creating a brilliant whirlwind.

TrĂ kata

Pass The Blade: The duelist deactivated his blade as he attacks, bypassing the opponent's block before igniting it into the hapless foe.
Unbalancing Block: The duelist caught the opponent's blade with his own before momentarily deactivating it, causing the opponent to stumble and leave himself open.

Spinning attack: The flying duelist would hover in one spot and spin wildly, lashing out at multiple opponents.

Those aren't forms, those are techniques and principles.

Darth Zannah mastered form 3, Soresu, being left handed and using a dual-bladed lightsaber so well she could use her spinning blade to deflect lightsaber blows, aswell as use Sith sorcery in combat. She simply wore out her opponements who couldn't break her defence until she ****** their minds up with nightmarish visions.

Might add that because she wasn't the biggest or strongest physically, she had a much smaller blade than what was normal. So she had to get really up and personal, while on the "defence". Which is pretty ******* awesome.
