Why not scold him ?
I have two cats, it's easy you just catch him, take him by the skin behind his neck (that doesn't hurt them) and you yell a bit at them.
He just stand there like he can't do **** about it.

Well I call ******** there. For example (and I think that anyone having a cat can relate), I forbid them to scratch my armchair, and believe me, they ******* know what they're doing is wrong. If I hear any of them shredding my armchair, I come to them and they run like Satan just lit their tail.
I don't know if my cats are exception our if it's a popular misconception, my cats are more like dogs than the (dick) cats generally described on th Internet.

lordrosco (07/26/2015) [-] this same ******* thing happened to me during a game of thrones marathon for this season, just made some ****** Bacon&cheddar cheese burgers with the works had some potato salad and baked beans sat down, cats looking up at me, jumps right into my lap and puts his paws in all of the food.... never have i ever felt like killing my cat before like this, even when he bit my nose giving me a huge scar
