Amazon prime is NOT free for college students. College students get a 6 month free TRIAL and then pay $50 per year then on.

You can just make a different account, as long as the email has a .edu address, you're fine
Just keep remaking accounts and abuse the free trial

I work at a college records office. We only give out one .edu email to every student, and it is deactivated one year after graduation. No exceptions. Ever. If you come back after a year it is reactivated and you get the same .edu email. There is literally no way we're allowed to give out a second .edu email and so you couldn't make another account. Unless you go to a different college maybe, but I do know at least all the Universities in Illinois share emails when students transfer so even that might not work.
Either way seems like an aweful lot of work for a free trial.

I work in the IT department in my school in a student position.
Its really easy to get a replacement email, no questions asked. Also, my school uses gmail for school email, so you can do the whole trick where you move the placement of a period in the email and have it sent to the same email, but Amazon counts it as a different email.

...How did you remember that? How did you know that? Did you screenshot that, or have it saved?

ARE YOU A DETECTIVE, OR A WIZARD?

Same as I once heard in a gameshow that the palace in Amsterdam was originally build on 13 659 poles, they needed to check if they were still okay and removed 2 of them, so currently the palace foundation has 13 657 poles. I don't know why I remember that, but I do. But I can't seem to remember my girlfriends birthday or stuff like that.

Yes, although that is a 50% discount compared to what you normally pay for 1 person.

However, the college 50% discounted version cannot be shared, whereas the regular version can be shared with enough people for the typical nuclear family. So the college version is only better for the 6 months free trial and for if you're the only one in your family who uses amazon.

Thanks for the mention.

Are you a script or something, compared? How can you constantly reply so quickly when you must get multiple notifications per minute?
User avatar #9 to #7 - compared (12/07/2015) [-]
Practice, I guess. I don't reply to all of them any more either.

Love me some pickles.

jesus, I skipped through the last ones after getting bored. Muscle cramps are uncontrollable muscle contractions, acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter that enables muscle contractions. That's not even fighting fire with magma, that's like trying to get a drowning victim to snap out of it by chucking them in an ice bath.

I'm assuming this is an alternative to using your lungs, not to making floating balloons, because the CO2 this will make and fill the balloons with will not float in air.
#13 to #11 - notevenbuells (12/07/2015) [-]
Thanks I was hoping another chem bro spotted this. This mix produces CO2, which is more dense than the atmosphere and will result in a balloon that is heavier than lung-filled balloons.

I have seriously been keeping a jar of pickles next to my bed for the last 2 months because I'm either too lazy to bring them down or I forget about them. Im keeping them right here in case of a cramp.

"Want dessert but don't want to indulge? Brush your teeth, nothing tastes good afterwards!"

What's the ******* point of having dessert then?
User avatar #31 to #17 - ADeadlYLepricoN (12/07/2015) [-]
I think they mean brush your teeth because then you won't want desert cause itll taste nasty and you avoid empty calories. mind games.
#38 to #31 - starlordoriginal (12/07/2015) [-]
I know, my point is that dessert's only purpose is to taste good. If it doesn't, you might as well just not eat it in the first place. Doing a trick to make it taste bad so you eat less just completely disregards the reason you wanted to eat it in the first place.

For anyone about the soda stream one. sadly the version in the picture is not sold anymore, and has been replaced with a crappier version. look at the reviews on the new one on the soda stream website.

Sucks because the energy one was my favorite

jesus ******* christ how much do you guys pay for red bull??
#29 - nexdemise (12/07/2015) [-]
Vinegar + baking soda produces CO2. The balloons won't float up and doing this unless you really have a lot of them is more effort than just blowing them yourself.
#26 - anon (12/07/2015) [-]
If listening to music for at least one hour a day reduced chances of getting insomnia by 75% please explain to me why I am on funnyjunk at 2am.

Good comp doe.

I don't think the proper name of a person or location can be used as a rhyming word?
