>Elevator one doesn't work - Otherwise the impatient people that repeatedly hit buttons would end up sitting at the same floor, but that doesn't happen
>Exhaling when your left foot hits the ground isn't a hack - breathing at any sort of regular, even pace will keep a regular flow of oxygen to the muscles, decreasing the rate at which lactic acid builds up and slowing muscle fatigue.
>Walmart usually will not send away people sleeping in the parking lot, but local police in many cities will.

Elevator one works with more than one floor on queue, if you've pressed just one button it won't do anything pressing it a lot. I do this always on my elevator

While what you've said regarding the running hack is true, exhaling as your left foot strikes the ground does indeed help to ease the pain of, and the rate of development of, cramps. The most common cramp people feel when running is a sharp pain in their right side which is caused by blood pooling in the liver. Breathing when your right foot strikes causes compression on that side and puts pressure on the already engorged liver, causing more pain. Breathing when your left foot strikes helps to prevent that.

actually, the breathing one is a hack. has to do with the liver being on the right side of the body. so when you exhale as your right foot hits the ground, your diaphragm is moving upwards while your liver is moving down. this repeated stretching causes spasms in the diaphragm which is what causes those pains in the abdomen, otherwise known as "side stitches".
