How would you react if someone told
you that you' re beautiful?
Shea Glover, a highschool
student from Chicago, conducted a
social experiment to find out.
She posed people in front of her camera
and then told them "I' m taking pictures
of things I find beautiful."
The responses are touching.
I conducted an independent project
which evidently turned into a social

Actually it didn't start out that way. For the project she genuinely was just taking pictures of beauty, however she realized the reactions were much more interesting.

the only interesting point of that post are the reactions and the photographer knows that.. but this is just ******** she tells herself.
IMO her work would be 100x better without that statement. that statement ruined her good idea of taking honest smiles from average people, which make them beautiful automatically.

'My intention was not to get a reaction' - you set up a ******* camera, pointed it people, had them stand and face the camera and took pictures while you provided them with stimuli so you could document the effect.

Nope, there it is. It does not exactly leave you with those corny nice emotions but it was a pretty cute experiment. She made a few of those people feel better at least, naturally not all of them would react in the same way they are ******* teenagers after all.
