From a statistical standpoint, the more sexual partners you've had before your spouse, the more likely your marriage is to fail.

From an emotional standpoint, it's kind of a trust issue. If you banged guys left and right, sex isn't something special to you (or meant to be shared with someone special), so the only thing stopping her is her faithfullness to you. So what happens when she gets drunk, or angry with you about something, etc?

Not that people can't change, but more often than not they don't.

You also have that the sexual curiousity often largely dies when you're been there and done it all, you know exactly what you want, and what you don't want. It kills experimenting and discovering things together. It's a moot point if you don't care about that though.

In my mind, experimenting is not about trying new things, experimenting should be about finding out what you like and don't like together.. I have tried a lot of things now, that doesn't mean it'll feel worse when I do decide to settle down with a chick..

Doesn't find out what you like and don't like together equate to trying new things? Or are you thinking like she didn't like anal with the last guy, but she might with you or something? Even if that's the case, if she's tried it with 5 guys before you and didn't like it, chances are she won't with you either. I could have used a guy here, but I didn't come up with any "guys are quezy about" preferences right now.

And it's also a little based in jealousy, the more partners someone has had, the bigger are the chances she's had someone better than you. You don't want a girl who thinks you're second or third, or fourth and so on best in bed, I assume? You can say "no, it wouldn't bother me", and I will believe you, but if that's so, you're one of few. I don't want the girl I'm marrying if I marry to occationally think "Damn, that other guy, he was gooood, I mean, choobe's okay, but he's no other guy". And you could call it insecurity, but I think that's a little misleading, it's logical, you can be good, but you're probably not better than all in a sample of 20+ guys that she deemed good enough to **** .

If you think so, then that's great! More power to you. But you have to remember you wouldn't necessarily be "fighting" a concrete level of sex, if she slept with "best guy ever" when she was 20, then 10 guys in 10 years, and then you marry her, you'll be fighting nostalgia, you could very well be objectively better, but time has faded away his flaws, while exaggerating his strengths. Of course, if you take it as a challenge, then as I said, more power to you, good for you. it's hard via text, but I mean all this non-sarcastically, if you're okay with this and take it as a challenge then I'm genuinely happy for you.

People who were previously very promiscuous are more likely to be unfaithful once they decide to "settle down". It makes sense, really. Get used to sleeping with a new guy or girl every month (if not even more often) for a few years and it's gonna be hard to then go your entire life without it.

Not just only in flies, only in one type of fly. And also only one trait, body size. Which it also seemed to happen less when the second mate was larger desirable trait .
It's also non-genetic, since their size was determined by diet aka environment.

Because of sexism, pure and simple. They'll claim its evolutionary to dislike women like that, then get pissed and deny it when women say men have urges to rape, saying they aren't animals bound by their evolution. They can't make up their mind. There are some problems, like the chance of an STD or a pride thing, but men who sleep around don't face as much stigma.
