I want to hear about your experiences with lucid dreaming, false awakenings, or any of the techniques used to achieve lucid dreams.

I've had 2 lucid dreams in my life, both in which I've been forced to fight an army of Jackie Chan Midgets.
****** ******* weird yo.

If you ever have another lucid dream like that, try forcing one to be still and then ask it why it is attacking you. You might be more than a little surprised with the results.

In that situation interrogating one would likely make the rest disappear or become otherwise non-threatening.

I don't think expressing yourself any way you please in a realm where you can't hurt anyone but yourself is wrong in any way. It's only, "****** up" by societies standards, there is no society in your dreams. I believe that if everyone mastered the ability to lucid dream by adult age, many people would have similar stories.

I honestly believe that you aren't abnormal in any way, in a world where you can do anything why wouldn't you want to experience everything you can?

I used to have false awakenings on a regular basis, though I never had multiple ones chain together. I have since moved from that house and now sleep on a couch.

After I learned of lucid dreaming I've wanted to have dreams like I used to again, in hopes using my newfound knowledge to do whatever I want in a dream.

Has this happened recently? Have you had any experiences since?

If you happen to have any new experiences, feel free to send them to me, I am intrigued by lucid dreaming and I want to know as much about other people's experiences as I can.

It is very much not ********. Sleep paralysis occurs so you don't move about in your sleep causing you to fall out of bed. If you experience this often then you may have a sleep disorder, most people don't get SP before they fall into the first stages of sleep.

You can use this to your advantage. I suggest you read this article on sleep paralysis, written by a lucid dreaming master.

I will assume this was posed as a question. I don't worry about losing my grip on reality because I can always check if I am unsure. Doing a quick little check will make it easy to differentiate between the two in a matter of seconds.

If you ask me, lucid dreaming would be a wonderful hobby, you can do anything you want in your dreams.

If it is as it sounds, then I suggest you look around the rest of the website, if it peaks your interest you can use the techniques found there to turn your REM atonia into lucid dreams.
