as a target worker/supervisor i dont understand why so many people hate it been at my store for a year or so now and love it. other other stores/states really that bad?
Honestly, it really isn't that bad. I like my job as well and just like anyone else it has it's bad days. It's really just an exaggeration on my part to satisfy my own morbid sense of humor
As a cashier at a gas station convenience store I could back this up. People get away with free **** all the time. Really not worth my trouble. A guy walked in once, got a fountain soda and walked out. I was just like "k"
I work at a gas station convenience store as well and this happens all the time. My friends know I don't care, so they will come in, grab a large fountain soda and a hot dog and just walk out. The $2.00 isn't worth one of my ***** .
I stole a pair of semi decent earphones once. I swapped my broken pair for a fixed one, an employee came up to me when I did and said "Oh, is this pair damaged?", winked at me, took the packaging and the broken pair and left. Mfw I walked right out and never returned to that store. To this day I haven't shoplifted a thing after that.
That is probably true. Also, even if it weren't true, they aren't allowed to interfere for their own safety. You could walk up to a cashier with whatever it is you want, say, "I'm stealing this," and then proceed to walk out the front door while they tell you to have a great day. Only the couple security staff members are allowed to respond
