I really don't see what feminism has to do with this.

And hey, just as a little experiment for you. Tell your family that you're gay and see what happens. Chances are high it won't be good.

But wait, you're not going to because you're afraid that they won't believe you when you take it back, that they'll always think differently of you, that they hate you, that they won't ever take you seriously.

If you honestly think gays get "special treatment" anywhere, you need to shut the **** up.

Well, there is a significant differance between getting a paper that says "You're married" and having the same legal benefits as traditionally married couples, and far as I've understood, in many places, all the gays have are the "you're married"-paper.

I think this is a problem with a lot of minority struggles. Stop thinking you know what it's like (I;m not saying you can never empathize but when you think you understand what others are going through and you get it wrong, well your solutions are wrong to and you fail to acknowledge there's a problem because you think there isn't one. Just because you see people in the same situations at you say in school or from time to time means you know their lives (or the lives of a whole group of the population).

You're talking about the vocal minority of gay people. This is like branding all Christians with the WBC's behavior.

...You clearly don't understand the media. Their whole job is to blow things out of proportion and sensationalize them to get the populace worked up about it. I agree that the way society treats homosexuality as some kind of free pass to get away with ****** behavior is stupid, but that doesn't mean the rest of what you say is correct. How many gay people do you know? How much of this information is coming from stories you read online? Similarly, have you ever actually met one of these radical feminists? It's true that there are people that act like you say, but pinning that on everyone is as ridiculous as saying "all blacks steal".
