I'm only 25, and even though I grew up in an affluent area, computers were a special luxury back when I was in elementary school. No computer classes that early back then. Computer was reserved for special privileges like getting to take turns playing math blaster during recess(no joke that **** was legit) or oregon trail (the version that wasnt in color, just black and green).

Regardless, in high school I took finance and accounting classes and excel is so simple and USEFUL to use, every adult should know how to use it by now

Calling ******** . The only time we touched computers in elementary was for some ISL crap which was basic math.
Hell, anything involving computer language or whatever is an elective in high school.

Well, maybe it was like that in the States. But in Poland we had training in Excel, Word and Powerpoint already in the elementary school. And from what I read on other comments, other places had it too.

I'm only 20 and my school literally NEVER taught or showed Excel unless you took the accounting classes. The first time I ever even opened it up was in technical college, pretty much same with the rest of my class of people aged 18-25. They must not teach it in little Wisconsin.
