I think it's really relevant, and more tasteful than the 69, or 666.
But 1337 would also be suitable because it's relevant ENOUGH that it somewhat reflects the content.
And that make's it even more tragic that it's an Xbox exclusive. I do play on Xbox, I would just want to play it with better performance and a keyboard and mouse.
Man I miss halo 3.
I was the asshole who would snipe you out of a tank or shoot the back of a wraith and blow it up with dual smgs.
All my friends hated to have me be an enemy because I won no matter what they did.
Y'know typing that out I think I can see why they never wanted to play...
I once made my friend rage quit because I was practically immortal with an assault rifle + rocket launcher combo, and was a surgeon with the spartan laser
This was my favorite thing about Halo 3. all the custom maps and **** people would play and download. There was a huge list of custom maps online and they were played often. I used to have a friend list of people who only played these custom games like Fat kid, Zombies, duck hunt was probably one of the best. You had 1 guy with a sniper and everyone else had to run through an obstacle course in front of the Sniper. At the end of the course there was a shield and teleport to the sniper and you got to kill him. And fat kid was a zombie game mode where the "Fat kid" was 1 super tanky but slow zombie. At first it'd be kinda easy to keep ganging up on him but once he got that 1st kill, things were interesting. Once he killed you, you became a zombie but you would be a super fast but squishy zombie. And respawns were fast too so it really felt like an intense zombie survival game without the food/water/limited ammo. And there was a **** load of racing maps. Not just boring mongoose tracks around a map, the racing maps were ridiculously cool. Man I miss it, I wonder if people even play halo 3 on xbox live anymore.
There was a game mode I loved that I made and me and my friends would play that I named Cat and Mouse.
Basically I set up the room of this map (can't remember the name) with a couple obstacles and small ramps and made one team spawn next to a bunch of mongooses.
Everyone walked really slow, so the only way to move was to be on a mongoose.
The 1 other person that was a "zombie" got into a chopper and the goal was to chase the "mice" and run them over with it using the chopper's boost. The only rule was no shooting.
Yeah I remember playing something like that. I don't know if you're the one who made it unless you played it online with others often because it was one of the maps to download. Reminds me of one game type called Stairway to Heaven I think and the purpose was to get to the top of a hill made from wood pellets and other walls into a sort of obstacle course with vehicles and that was so popular people made Stairway to Heaven 2, 3, 4, I can't remember how many were made but there were 3 really popular ones.
Border patrol was basically like a cross between cops n' robbers and smear the queer. Cops on ghosts and robbers with 200% speed running around the map.
Also, I popped in the Halo 3 disk for nostalgia a month ago and there is still a few forgotten souls on the multiplayer servers, probably less than 800. Then again if you get the Xbone you can get the MC collection and it has classic playlists from all the games, ****** cash yo.
I remember all the maps vividly. I loved duck hunt and the HALO race one, but I also loved trash compactor. It was fun to crush people with bins and footballs, and trying to tuck yourself in the corner to not get it. I also loved the weird gravity map where the map rotates on an axis and it constantly switches around. I miss Halo 3 and all the custom maps. Unfortunately, hardly anyone plays online anymore, and I really wish it was still what it used to be. What a time it was to be alive.
