From the "then I got hard" bit, at 0:23 when it says "guess who's back?" on the screen
He thought it was a shameless commercial sellout, then found out it was also an ingeniously subtle teaser presumably for new Top Gear, so it's both of those
jeremy was fired from the bbc
he says ".... and that" when they the bbc streaming service
hahah funny because he was fired from bbc so he is angry at bbc
That... and the fact that in this commercial it shows that he'll be back with the other two guys for an Amazon original show that seems like it'll be just like Top Gear. Check out the ad on the t.v at the 24 second mark
I love Top Gear but i couldn't have been more dissapointed to find out their new show was on Amazon Prime. I know of literally 0 people who use this service, so i'm just worried that the majority of their audience will be viewing the show through piracy leading to them having maybe 1 or 2 seasons only. It would have been a lot better for them to have signed a contract with Netflix IMO since almost everybody uses it.
If everybody uses netflix, does netflix have an incentive to produce a very expensive show in order to entice more people with exclusive content? there are plenty of other options for cheaper content to produce.
Prime on the other hand is desperatly trying to conquer pieces of the pie, and as such, a large draw, such as (whatever clarkson, hammond & may's new show is called) is a good investment.
or maybe i'm just talking out my ass.
You're most likely right, although i heard the reason they signed with Amazon is because the contract allowed for the most creative freedom. I don't have a source for this nor do i remember where i heard it so it could be total bollocks, if so ignore me.
