well you give a young child all the money and attention in the world - even for just a few years - and what do you honestly expect as a result?
Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus..........
...........
im not saying there aren't exceptions or even that ive done any research on the subject
only that it shouldn't be surprising when you give a kid the ability/resources to act like a child instead of growing up and accepting limitations and they go off and act like a child
Judging by her use of the word "bro" and the was she's saying "now" with an exaggerated facial expression, seems like it was a joking reply that had nothing to do with the guy's ability to speak English. Lawrence is usually glib like this, so what exactly is the problem?
1. She had no idea he didn't speak English
2. If you're a journalist and go to different country to work, you better damn know English or the language of that country well enough, to not need a cheat-sheet.
I couldn't care less about Jennifer Lawrence, it just seemed a bit unfair on her
I guess. Just by reading what the reporter said, I have no idea what they're getting at. It's not a complete sentence, and what's there doesn't make any sense. It must have been sloppy translation. Then again, you'd think that whatever media outlet that the reporter's from would have sent someone who could actually speak English.
Each time the sentence ends abruptly it's because the reporter looks down at their phone (to read translated questions) and gets cut off by her holier-than-thou mularkey. She thought she was going to come off as saying some surreal, important life lesson, but instead she berated someone for making an attempt to speak to her in her native tongue.
