"worthless"
thats obviously an iPhone 4/4s and this video is a few years old so the phone wasn't that old when this was taken. Besides, I had my phone for over two years before I upgraded and plan to have this one even longer now that I'm on a SIM only dead. ****** expensive and I thank my lucky stars I got to buy the fancy TV, consoles, laptop, phone, when all money was disposable. Now that I have to pay for my travel to even get to work, phone bill etc, and soon rent, money goes quickly. If he hasn't got insurance (which is even more money out each month), then he's ****** .
And that is just half of it. What about the numbers that noone stores anywhere else but that one SIM card? What of all the photos he was going to back up tomorrow? He's obviously on a day off or on holiday, what if it's the last of a month long trip, all of those memories, gone.
Your statement that what he had being worthless was wrong from what we can see anyway. The fact that there is this entire other side you can't see even furthers your incorrectness

so you should know that if that phone was thrown off a bridge after a year or two, then you've lost a lost of money that obviously never needed to be spent on a phone
