Working long hours and my body now decides to screw me over. The bright side is I get to be on the computer and **** around, but damn I'm tired. This drawing is the embodiment of how I felt at around that time. Still tired but you hit a certain point and get your second wind.

I'm a developer, so I can't live without that **** .
I give my body some detox time between work, so normally on the weekends, but any time I'm not working in general.
It helps the caffeine stay effective, since obviously going without lowers tolerance.

i normally havent had to work these long hours, but since student loans are finally starting to be due i've been picking up more shifts, and the rest is history. ill either need a break like you suggest or start brewing my coffee with red bull instead of water.

I typically work very long hours when I do, and suggest taking those couple of days to detox (just abstaining should be enough) as opposed to going stronger. Just personal experience talking there.

Feeling bad for you though man, student debt sucks like nothing else.

You got your lender to go by your taxes, right?
If you haven't, try getting them to lower your monthly payments based on your return. Might lower them a bit.

i didnt see an option for that, but it was a federal loan so i dont know if that means anything. all i selected was a gradual repayment plan so it starts with low(ish) repayments and get more expensive every two years i think

Here's some information on the types that might help you a bit: studentaid.ed.gov/sa/repay-loans/understand/plans/income-driven

You could also look up information on getting a federal consolidation loan and apply for ICR/IBR at the same time. If you don't see any information about any of these options, contact your lender, because they should be available to all federal types.

Getting the consolidation and applying lowered the debt of someone I know to a very minimal amount that sounds like it would be much more manageable for you if you can do it.

Have you tried snorting Coke? Or maybe trucker pills if you're not ready for the major stuff
